  1. Disgusting for them to not even acknowledge the issue even if they ultimately decline to offer any financial compensation. We can always claim on travel insurance, but I would need some documentation from the cruise line to show that the delay actually happened.
  2. Our cruise arrived back into Trieste 6 hours late due to strong winds (due 08:00 but arrived at 14:00). We missed our train from Trieste to Treviso and had to take a €250 cab (as directed to do by yacht club concierge) so that we didn't miss our 6pm flight. Yacht club concierge told us to claim the taxi cost back from the cruise line. So far, nearly a month later since claiming the taxi cost via email it's radio silence from the cruise line, no acknowledgement or response to the claim. What should we do, and has anyone had any success in similar circumstances? Thank you for any help or advice.
