  1. Slightly off topic, does anyone have experience using tesco vouchers and how long did it take for them to be applied to the invoice? I booked over a week ago and I'm still waiting for the teaco vouchers to be taken off....🤔😒
  2. I was also on this cruise and agree with the OP on maintenance of the ship, entertainment and disappointment in missing ports. I was also surprised at the enforced table sharing in MDR for breakfast and lunch - even during a bad norovirus outbreak on the ship! Also, I found it worrying that there were no staff available for cleaning or sterilising tables in the buffet or bars between guests, and yet Noro cases kept raising....maybe the two are connected! It was my first P&O cruise and I'm not sure I would book another. If I did, definitely wouldn't revisit Arcadia.
  3. Great, thanks! Good to know Arcadia isn't sailing full. Yes, I'm keen for late dining so it's good to know I can request this once onboard!
  4. Less than 20 days until I board Arcadia for my first P&O cruise! I've had my cabin assigned (with an unexpected upgrade!), but can't see what dining time I've been allocated. I'm on a saver fare and I think this means I don't get first choice, which is fine, but do they assign your time at all before boarding?
  5. I'll be on the Arcadia, which is adults only, but I hope Santa still makes an appearance!! Especially for the big kids in us! 😅
  6. What didn't you enjoy? Did you embark on Xmas day? 🤔
  7. It's just over 30 days until I embark on my first cruise with P&O and my first ever Christmas cruise! I'm getting very excited. ☺ What are your favourite things about cruising at Christmas? What can I look forward to? What is your favourite festive food, drink, decorations, entertainment on board??
  8. Yes, I think it really depends on how far out the ship has docked. I agree, it wouldn't be worth it in Tallinn. Or other cities with good public transport options such as Amsterdam or Helsinki. Or when the ship is able to Dock near the city centre as in Lisbon and Oslo. But again, it will depend on individuals ability to walk as well.
  9. Yes, the link works. Great resource to have and thanks for sharing!
  10. Thank you, this is really helpful. I'm on a Baltic cruise and I'm happy to walk most places, but was thinking Copenhagen might be worth getting a shuttle! Your info confirmed my thinking and sounds like best value for the convenience
  11. I'm booked on my first P&O cruise for December and can't wait! Does anyone know or had any recent experiences with P&O providing shuttle buses from the cruise terminals to city centres while in port? My last cruise stopped in Portugal and the line provided free shuttles from the cruise terminal into Central Lisbon which was particularly helpful on a rainy port day!
