I heard similar things - you’re lucky it’s the last bottle, and I found some more …..

Ate once at Murano and was shocked they didn’t have any French white wines by the glass ….until I complained a bit and she found the Steel. How can you be a French restaurant and not have a selection of appropriate wines ?!?

Guess they haven’t seen all the news reports about plastic water bottles ?!?

We didn’t even get a welcome bottle to f bubbly on our last cruise.

From what I can find online - rule of thumb for pricing of a glass of wine price is 1 glass = 1 bottle at MRSP and 1 bottle at a restaurant = 3-4 times MSRP. That being said some of Celebrity’s pricing seems correct and some seem very off. Also what size pour are you consistently getting on the ship - standard again is 5 oz? Sometimes I just want 1.5 glasses because I don’t wanna waste wine or now money what’s my option? Maybe Celebrity needs to increase the allowance for classic and premium to $12 and $19? Or reduce some menu prices because they should pass some of their buying power discounts to customers?

I may be wrong but I think if you pay for the premium beverage package you assume vast majority of items are covered and if you’ve got the classic at least half should be covered JMHO!

That’s funny but not really funny - on the Equinox in Oct I was told repeatedly that the Steel Chardonnay I was drinking as the last bottle.

No I hope they get a variety and a few more expensive pours like they do liquor and just eat the cost difference.

I’m sorry but there’s no wine on the ships IMHO that is worth more than $17 a glass. And if they are up charging now in the Retreat Lounge for wine and drinks …..yup no way my husband will wanna cruise again on Celebrity !

I believe we were on the same cruise! Yes Vinod and Sajo were wonderful. agreed that John the “head butler” was useless. We never got our welcome bottle of bubbly and were given various reasons why not - including they were out and you have to ask ?!? we are in the Apex in February and have decided that we will make certain that we get what we have paid for including welcome bubbly, lattes in the room, shirt pressing etc. if not yes we will speak with the hotel director.

Vinod should be there. I believe he is going home in January/ February than to the summit while the equinox is dry docked and then will return to the equinox.

There was a tote but no slippers.

When was this? Did you see the retreat manager ? Any other butlers ?
