  1. I will likely never know as it's not a venue that appeals to me in the slightest. However, we may split up the venues one day and my wife order from Steamers while I order from Planks. That might work well for us. I will be interested in the general opinion of Steamers for dinner but, as I said, it's not something that appeals to me at all. I don't eat crab and mussels, e

tc. don't appeal to me either. Hopefully you will get some good input regarding Steamers as a dinner venue.

Thanks Thrak.....for your 2 post they still were helpful .

  2. I wouldn’t count on the Celebrity

website to have any info correct about your perks or add-ons. This is a known issue.

Be sure to print a bring a copy of your confirmation with all your perks listed for your embarkation in case there’s any question at check-in.

I always do that & will this time for sure !

  3. If you check your confirmation invoice you would have received from Celebrity as soon as you had made a booking you will see on that invoice if you have received a free beverage package and any OBC credit you have. I cant comment on the internet because I have never claimed that as a perk. Your invoice should have been emailed to you if you booked direct with Celebrity. If you booked with a travel agent they will have been sent the invoice so get it from them.

I booked with a TA...it is on the confirmation but I haven't seen it on X website .

  4. Where are FREE perks listed on X Website in my cruise booking area? I do not see the beverage/liquor package or tips showing up anywhere ....which I received FREE when I booked my cruise. I am not sure where to look for them over on X website with my booking info. Any help explaining fully where they would be listed would be greatly appreciated.

  5. ***** is currently only on the Regal & since the Caribbean was scheduled after the Royal in January 2018, there’s no way to estimate when it’ll be available on the Caribbean.

For our May 2019 cruise on the Royal, we’ve been notified that ***** will not be on that cruise. Some posts indicate they’re hopeful to have the Regal fully operational by December. That’s over a year after adding ***** and my Royal cruise won’t have it 16 months after the scheduled implementation date.

Not even Princess knows how the implementation will go & after over 5 months only a small percentage of Regal cabins have ***** available but are not fully operational. Since the second ship scheduled to have ***** won’t have it until sometime after Spring 2019, the Caribbean would probably be even later.

Thanks very much for this detail info.

  6. Yep - it's a well kept secret. Plus Loyalty OBC will not show up pre-cruise in the Personalizer - only once you board.

There is a discount for repeat cruisers.

Loyalty OBC is not the same as that discount or FCC OBC.

So you have to call for PCL to get the loyalty OBC....it isn't applied automatically ?

  7. Here are a few of ours:

Room service for wake-up calls. Hot coffee and food in the room getting ready for that early port tour.

There is usually a free plug behind the TV so you can put some charging needs in a different location.

Pay a bit closer attention to the patter as there are small details most people miss. One of the recent posts has been about the escape rooms on some princess ships. Notice for signup is in the patter on the day of embarkation.

Drinks you can bring on and those you can't. numerous other boards on wine and water can help you there. Extra wine without corkage can be brought on under certain conditions on longer cruises.

If you have an older bed that is "tacoed", ask for a bed board under the mattress and added foam pad on top. Have not had to do this for the last few sailings.

All your luggage can go under the bed. nest them if you can for more room.

Bring a few small magnets for hanging your itineraries on the wall.

What 'certain conditions ' can you bring onboard more Wine?

  8. Here you go, all your questions answered - what's included, what you can swap for, etc...

THANKS ...this is exactly what I needed to know .

  9. My pre-paid tips as part of a Princess promotion are shown under the Cruise Personalizer’s “Payment & Credit” tab. Under Credit is “Optional Gratuity Pre Payment” and clicking on “Select” shows that my tips are paid. I print the page in case there is a problem onboard.

If your tips are paid directly by a TA, I don’t know where you’d see it. I booked a Princess offer that included free tips through my TA & the above procedure is where I’ve found it every time.

EDIT: nukesubsailor was faster than me. [emoji6]

Thanks for these directions .... I found that area...it shows we owe $0. ...so that's great !

  10. I believe there are two each of scotch, gin, Canadian & brandy. You can swap them for more of the above. ie, trade gin for scotch.

There are 12 cans/bottles of water, soda and beer. They can also be swapped for others in the group. ie. beer for water.

Other options - trade whole thing for 2 coffee cards.

Trade the whole thing for a bottle of wine.

Is Vodka an option to trade for?
