There are these tables on the Discovery....  Also,  as to the ship's layout, you could have checked the deck plans beforehand. You could have known where the gym was.

Ship tours were discontinued when covid hit. You could do the kitchen galley tour. As far as special dinners go, yes, they're still offered.

Unfortunately for us, I believe he's no longer with Princess. As to why, no one seems to know... I wish him the best.

By the way, Princess has just increased the internet cost for standard fare passengers.

I got on online chat with princess, explained everything.    Only answer I got was try again later.  They could not explain why I was getting the "not eligible" message. 

First time cruising with Princess, not a good start.

 

Why isn't it a good start? You booked the cabin you wanted at the price you wanted. Now, you just want to upgrade for less... there may not be cabins available to bid on. Princess has to keep cabins for guarantee assignments and emergencies. There are never any guarantees with the bidding process.

It's open but many special occasions are held there, such as the platinum, elite and suite passengers lounge, the singles or LGBTQ meet-ups also.

Update to the Discovery. Captain Holland will be leaving the Discovery on 11/25/23. I assume Captain Smith will be returning then but there's no way of knowing.

Update as to the Discovery.  Captain Steve Holland is now in charge as of 11/14/23. Captain Smith left the ship on 11/11/23, apparently for a family emergency. Lesic is now and again staff captain
