Sometime try a Jager Bloody Mary, sub Jager for the vodka use like 3/4 of a shot instead of a full shot per drink. Unless you saw it being made with Jager you would never guess it was Jager. It is excellent.

We sailed out of Miami on the day of the Miami Marathon. Left Ft Lauderale at 9:30,
finally got to the Port at 1:45

We did the Inaugural TA on Horizon Inside Cabin and loved it. Your location sounds great for the deal you got. Wouldn’t hesitate to go. Cruising_Addic referenced the Havana area. It is true you cannot go in to that pool area but you can enjoy the lovely seating area just outside the Bar and the Bar area also, evening music there was great.
We were on the Horizon in February this year. You can no longer sit in the pool area at all unless you are in a Havana Cabin. You can get a drink at the outside bar but must take it back inside. We were nicely asked to leave the area after someone complained we were there. Lots of empty chairs at the time. The Horizon is one of our favorite Ships.

None of the bars had it on the Nieuw Statendam last month

Part of the problem with the Gloria wine based margaritas could be it is a 1.5L bottle which is not allowed because of size. It is also available in 750ml but rarely carried because the 1.5L is a much better deal

All above correct. However on the Nieuw Statendam Oct 22 cruise no Makers to be found on board
-
Last week on Nieuw Statendam there was still a VeriFLY line but you’d mergered with the only line before checking. If you have a passport take your picture and send you to wait for your # to be called

The tux died several years ago. When the airlines luggage requirements went from 70 to 50 pounds the tux disappeared. This is a shame since it was nice to be able to really dress up on occasion. Now anything goes. You can show up for Gala night looking like you just got off the tractor. Though we were invited to the Captains table for dinner and most of the men had tuxes on, and I only had a business suit. No one showed up in a tee shirt and tennis shoes. Formal night used to have ice sculptures, caviar and the Rosario Strings playing music, along with men in tuxes and women in beautiful dresses. Luckly I do have the memories.
I’m from the Midwest and not a farmer but I resent the farmer comment about not wearing a tux.

Been on several cruises on Super Bowl Sunday almost Exclusively with Carnival. The game a has always been on the big screen on the lido deck and at every bar that has TVs Also super bowl is the only live sports event that is also on your cabin TV, but that may have changed because it’s been a few years since we watched in our cabin. As far as snacks go I do not remember them being offered on the Lido deck.

We changed dates about a month kept $500 in OBC and Cot an Additional $375 for a price drop WWCD

Yes i noticed that. Clientele is declining. Shame they were getting ppl from other lines to come and now it seems going backwards. I may go back to Royal next year if this keeps up.
I have a feeling that when you return to Royal you might feel the same way about them. This is problem for the entire cruise industry that needs to fix. Each cruise line will handle it the best way that will for that cruise line.

Also the possibility that if your cabin is not ready and you drop your luggage off the cabin steward may think it was left by the previous occupants and remove it

Yes, Carnival's product is SEVERELY diluted since you booked your cruise. It's just the truth of the matter. I hope you got a good deal on your cruise because Carnival's current product is absolutely not worth what cruises were selling for in 2019 or early 2020.
And if carnival charged you more for the your cruise without any cutbacks I’m pretty sure you’d be complaining that Carnival is charging me more without any better or more free services. Carnival is in business to make money. Go to the other cruise line boards and they are all full of people complaining that the service and amenities have gone down in quality with more items that used to be free are now have a charge

Another cutback, another PIA. The way they word their cutback bs makes it sound like this is what passengers want. They obviously think we are ALL idiots. The room service trays in the hall have food on them because, as stated above, the food was not good! The $ breakfast items were worse than awful!
We enjoy a BLT or other sandwich from room service for lunch, snack or dinner sometimes. Only source of potato chips. The veggies & dip have really been missed by us.
The buffet the last 2 cruises was horrible. The MDR food items are now Barbie doll size servings. Yeah, we’re moving on. What Carnival has left now is nothing like it was 12 years ago. Nothing special, nothing unique, nothing for us to entice others to join us. We’ll pay more for a better experience. Thanks ……
Poof ……
Bye Bye

Supply chain issues like a lot of products these days. For Hennessy, this has been going on for almost a year now. However, recently, it does seems to be easing up

As long as there is not another Adult Over 21 in the room you will only need to buy 1 package

in Carnival Cruise Lines

I’m sure that that may be part of the spirits are not available for purchase from the fun shops but from somebody in the business there are a lot of spirits that are not available in the general public because of no availability for Bottles or product due to Covid
