We had dinner in the MDR last night, the place was full. Service was smooth, we loved the roast chicken. Afterwards we visited the BB Kingclub and Rolling Stone Rock and Roll room. The BB King band was excellent, the dancefloor was empty at first but the band stimulated the people to dance. And so we did😎.

Easy trainride (few passengers), the Rotterdam (photo taken from nortside Amsterdam Central Station) and cocktail and Prosecco in the Crowsnest.

We are Dutch residents so we took the train to Amsterdam. I tried VeriFLY because at first we did not get a mail from the HAL about the test not needed for this cruise. No retail inside the PTA but enough shops and restaurants in the vicinity. The PTA is a 15 minute walk from the trainstation which is in the center from Amsterdam (with even more shops/restaurants etc). Priority check in for 4 and 5 star Mariners as well as people who need assistance. From entering PTA till entering the cabin it took no more than 25/30 minutes.

Perhaps we meer at the meet and greet (of there is one?).

On this particular cruise no test was needed.

After more than 2 1/2 years (and numerous cancellations) we are off to Amsterdam for a two week cruise (B2B) to Norway. I will try to share our experience/impressions/activities. Feel free to ask questions.

So we are not the only people who have not heard from the HAL. We will try contacting the HAL the next saus. Hope to see you too,

Any Europeans have received the mail from HAL? Untill totdat we have not, to reach the HAL is impossible. After hours on wait the line is disconnected.

Thanks Vmax1700, i did check my spam email but no luck. I booked directly with HAL (European office). To contact the European office of HAL is nearly impossible. But as you stated post #28 is very clear, no test needed.

Thans for the information. Very helpful. We are on the cruise out of Amsterdam july17th bit have not received the mail from the HAL yet. Wondering why. Anybody have any thoughts/suggestions?

Thanks Albert. Waiting times now exceed 1 1/2 hrs and still not be able to speak to a representative. When calling this afternoon I got a message ‘this number is not available, please call back later ‘.

HAL cancelled our cruise with the Volendam. We opted for the replacement cruise offered by the HSL (Norway). Untill now we have not received a confirmation. On our Mariner account an incorrect final amount to pay is shown (to be paid by juni 2). We have been emailing the HAL (no response) as well trying to contact by phone. No luck getting to speak to a person. Very frustrating. Anyone with the same experience? Amy advice on hoe to reach a representative of HAL?
