We will be on Splendida in Sept in the Mediterranean. Disembarking/Debarkation (have no idea which term is correct)for us is in Genoa. We are going to take the train from Genoa to Bologna. I’d like to buy my train tickets early to save $ and stress but am unsure if we can make an 11:00 train that morning. Does anyone have experience with this port? Thanks!

Okay, I called and had the sweetest lady! She said that the updated health and safety measures don’t require a booster even if it’s been over 270 days. Gosh, I hope she’s right. 😬

I booked direct.

This has me confused and a bit anxious. We are booked on a Med Cruise on Splendida next month. Fully Vaxxed but our final dose was November 15, 2021 When I read the requirements on the website today, it doesn’t mention an expiration date. Just fully vaxxed and booster encouraged. The 270 days part is no where to be found. Dare I call MSC? I don’t want to be denied boarding.

We are on Splendida next month. When I booked our trip, the website stated we needed to be fully vaccinated PLUS a booster. When I checked the website for updates (I’m praying they’ll nix the preboarding covid tests because I’m so stressed about finding a place in Italy to do them) it states we just need to be fully vaccinated and a booster is optional. Before I cancel our appointment to get boosters, I’m wondering if others are seeing the same thing. It’s my first MSC cruise and our 30th anniversary and I really want everything to be splendid. (See what I did there? 🙂. ). Thanks for your assistance.

Anyone else booked on the Splendida in mid-September? We leave Genoa on the 17th. It's our first MSC cruise and our first time to Italy. Just got our room assignments today!
