We had a refundable booking for Epic Tours in March (for 8 people). We canceled the tour a week in advance as soon as the cruise was canceled. We called and canceled and followed up with e-mails. They refused a refund claiming they had no money and the island was in financial distress. They offered a voucher, we said no, they said they couldn't refund. I filed a dispute with the credit card company after I saw their website says they are open, taking bookings and giving tours. Today I got an e-mail from them saying if I withdraw the dispute they will refund it. Then I got an e-mail from the company that does their billing that says they feel it's a legitimate charge.
Wondering if anyone has received a refund, at this point I really don't trust them but not sure which route I should take.Curious did you ever get your refund?

We have taken this trip 4 times and have always had 2 stop snorkel, lunch and drinks on the way back to their dock. They are very easy to work with and will answer any questions.
I have emailed them for the third time. No response. I have also checked my junk mail, nothing.

I agree adult behavior can be worse! The worst lines we saw were for Guys BBQ on sea days and the Blue Iguana for breakfast. We must have hit places at the right time because we really didn't have to wait long for anything including pizza and seafood shack. Guy's burger line was very quick. We had breakfast at the buffet most mornings and other than the omelet line, it truly wasn't bad. We never had an issue with finding a table
VASE where is Guys BBQ located? I have been on the Breeze a few years back and it was not on the ship at that time. And it's not on the deck plans that i have looked at online. Thanks!

Hello, we were on the Breeze about 4 years ago. Guys Bar B Que was not on it at that time. And i can't find it on the deck plans. Just curious where is it? What did it replace?
Thanks!

Please: remember to carefully open and close your balcony door. Nothing worse then neighbors who constantly let that door slam.
Here's a fun little tip..use inexpensive plastic shower curtain rings to hang swim suits on the back bar of the chairs on your balcony. Keeps items secure and dries so much faster then hanging on the shower clothesline.
I just tie and knot the drawstring on my husbands bathing suit trunks to the back of the chair. And as for mine I hook the bathing suit bottoms to the top through the leg opening, and hook to the chair. No need for shower rings.

Disney was just a thought, an option. We're all adults, we may do something else. I do see why that option doesn't make a ton of sense when you consider travel times from one place to the next.

Alls good! I was asking for a relative. Thanks for the above info. I’ll pass it on.

Surely someone has gone on a tour in LA?

NCL booked the flight out after the cruise and it does not depart LAX till 9:15 pm on a Sunday. Any recommendations for a good tour company?
Thanks!

Looking for a plan for next spring in Malta. Carnival has a 10 top sites tour. Has anyone done this recently? It would be our only Carnival tour for this cruise. We will be in port 7am-4pm.

From what i have read there is a liquor store in Barcelona port after you go through check in. I've read that you can bring on liquor from there and at each port. Unlike in the USA.

I'm not worried at all. The May 30th cruise is very port intensive. I expect while on board a lot of sleeping will be going on
.I just want to know who's bright idea was it to have two ships with such similar names?
-
I am waiting on Carnival to call me back to possibly book air from NJ to Barcelona with them. They are allowing me to choose my seats. Normally bags would then be included in the International flight.
BUT, United's checked bags are 60.00 when booking "Basic Economy". Which does not allow you to pick your seats.
So, my question is. Has anyone flown United Internationally and were able to pick their seats but still had to pay additional for their checked bags? I'm just trying to come up with total charges.
Thanks

We will be at port Catania June 8, 2020. I am looking for any advice from anyone who has been to Mt. Etna. The tour i am interested in will take us "just in front of Crateri Silvestri".
Should i expect it to be cold in that area in June? How about the cable cars? Is that the area you can get on them to ride higher up? How much time would it take to go up in the cable cars, have a look around, then come back down? Is visiting just the Silvestri crater worth the trip?
I should mention this is a 8 hour tour with the second part of the day being Taormina.
Thanks!

What is the approximate taxi fare from BCN to a hotel on La Rambla? Also are taxi drivers NOT normally tipped in Europe? There is a long thread that discusses tipping and the majority say they are not tipped.

We will be trying the YTD on our next cruise. We will be on the newly redone Radiance next spring.
Is YTD in only one of the dining rooms? I’m thinking it’s in the centrally located dining room.

We will be there next June 9am-6pm on our first Mediterranean cruise. Any information about Palermo would be great. I'm not finding much info at all on Palermo on the threads.
Thanks

I am looking at three different tours with both Stefano and ItalyTours.EU. Is one preferred over the other? Anyone with experience with both? Pros and Cons?
Thanks!!!

Thank you so much for your valuable advice everyone. I am not going to book the shorex as a result. I will also investigate roll calls. I assume all cruise lines have them?
Yes at the top of this page. "Find your roll call!" There most likely are others looking for people to book group tours with. Good luck!

Our last Carnilval cruise was last spring. This is new news to me.
So we will find our sign and sail cards in a sealed envelope outside our door? And our printed out boarding passes have a folio number on them?
Is there also a bar code on the boarding pass for them to scan or are they just charges our drinks to the folio number?

We are looking at three tours that Stefano offers. Pisa & Florence, Rome in a day, and Pompeii, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast. Has anyone done any of these tours with Stefano or used them for other tours? Thoughts?

We used one for the first time last year. Our 12th cruise. Loved it!!!, and ours hangs by a hanger so I just used the hook on the inside of the bathroom door.
