This cruise is for June 21 on the Sunshine, 8D (balcony on Lido forward) and I had already paid cruise off so under couldn't get it taken off balance. I have not bought myself anything nice in years so may get some new jewelry.;)

Thanks for all the suggestions. Right now it doesn't say what type of OBC it is. I'm going to try the casino because extra cash on the way home is always helpful. Was going to the steakhouse anyway so this really helps.

Due to major drop on my cruise I have $1130 on OBC for two cabins (DH & I and kids). We rarely spend much on board ship and have already booked all our excursions with private parties. Do I lose this money if I don't use it?

Thanks to CC I checked today and $416 OBC for our June cruise on the Sunshine.

Thanks to this post I went and checked for a price drop on my Sunshine cruise in June and got OBC of $415 per cabin on two 8D balcony cabins. Now each cabin has almost $600 in OBC :). For my other cabin which is the week before I got $166 OBC for a 8D making a total of over $300 for the first leg of my B2B. Thank You CC.

Does anyone know when this should show up on my account or do I get an email?

Wow I pray this doesn't happen to us. We booked side-by-side balconies for our upcoming cruise with on room having a 18, 17, and 16yr old girls in it. I am a very protective Mom and want these girls close to us. The PVP said she linked the reservations together so hopefully this will help insure this doesn't happen to us.

I never use the internet while cruising but this June I need it for my DD's BF to be able to keep in touch with her Mom. My DD also wants to be able to keep in tough with her BF and pinquest and some other websites she can't live without. We will be on the Sunshine, does anyone have the prices?

We've booked our first NCL cruise on the Getaway next year and am already convinced that 7days will not be enough time to try all the foods you all have mentioned. :eek:

We have always cruised off season with our kids and they have had a good time. My kids are only two years apart so they hung out with each other and didn't make an effort to make "friends". Last time we did a Jan cruise it was an 8 day to Aruba and was the best cruise to date. At the time our oldest was in her first year of hs and ended up falling way behind. As kids get older they have much more school work and not every child (my DD:mad:) is good about taking time out from the fun to get the school work done. One thing I did with help from my child's teachers was to photocopy their school books for the sections that needed to be done; I don't want to think how much those school books would have weighed.:eek:

Your tour with Bernard sounds great but can you ask for a beach other than Orient. My DS will be 16yo at time of our cruise and I would be uncomfortable if there were any nudist there; there are just some things a Mom doesn't want to share with her son.:rolleyes:

The young lady I'm taking with me has never know her father due to his having drug issues. A few years ago they heard that he had died. My question is since she only has a mom who will supply all the paperwork, do I need to prove the father's death? This might be difficult due to the family not having any contact with him for at least 10 years before his death.

Wow I would love to do this as a B2B but will have to wait until DH retires (too many days).:( Too bad I don't have any friends that could be gone that long from home.:(

Is it better to get two cabs for the six of us in June or a van?

Thanks for the information. I booked months ago with High Pockets and Kathleen has been wonderful. I'm taking DD and her BF in June for a celebration cruise and thought this sail sounded great. I think its cool that the girls can see a women running her own business in a field that is usually dominated by men. Really looking forward to meeting Kathleen and crew. For those who have sailed with High Pockets can you recommend a tip amount.

Thanks for the information. This summer I'm taking my DD's friend and want her to get in touch with her mom and least once a day/every other day. I think I'll just let her call home from the room or email from the fun hub.

Will have to watch for reviews of those coming off the four ships "testing" the new menus. I too would like to know if my upcoming Sunshine cruise will have old or new menus.
