  1. We are on the same page. Too much too quickly. And for us all of the cutbacks and price increases came after final payment for our Feb and April cruises. So the impact of the changes are greater for cruisers in mid-Jan through April. Fortunately final payment for our Nov cruise is due in July, so we can cancel if we want. NOTE TO SELF: If booking cruises in Q1 be prepared for change with no recourse. I suspect NCL 2023 budgets were set by 10/22 and all the “ways to save” were identified shortly thereafter with a January effective date. And since each department was acting individually, somebody (FDR 1 &2) likely missed the impact the collective cuts/increases on the guest experience.
  2. I sure hope you’re correct. I don’t know if you’ve read reviews for Prima but the current CC rating for Prima is 2.9 Poor. Seems like the only consistent positive is Indulge. I really do want NCL and Prima to be successful.
  3. I truly hope that the NCL trolls are taking back the insights uncovered on this site. While all of our comments are subjective…the cumulative effect should be objective. In other words… NCL should look at the stats between Latitude future bookings vs non-latitudes and decide where they want to position themselves. Loyalist typically pay more for consistency (IMO). Newbies look for the deal. So…Mr. Del Rio’s…what is NCHL (NCL) position? Or do you even know?
  4. Hugs…you’ve been supportive of several of my posts and I appreciate it.
  5. Hi @uneamiethe NYE post you so admirably defended was about the Bliss. @cruiseny4life(whom is often funny snarky) was on the Getaway. You may have thought it was @Cruise5life. Protecting the innocent…lol.
  6. Yum . Thanks for posting picture. DH will enjoy that. And I’ve been eying the short ribs. Hope this what we can expect in April.
  7. @zqvol…this is not your quote…evidently I don’t know how to properly “quote” on CC. It is @rxlowry Eggs. True, there are major supply and cost problems. And these temporary, unexpected impacts are acceptable. What’s becoming not acceptable, at least for me, is the incidence of reductions and price increases.
  8. And now a word from our sponsors. #paidendorsement
  9. For me, it’s more about what I was seeing/looking forward to when we booked and made final payment vs. what it will be when we cruise in April. Especially since Prima rates were running higher than older ships.
  10. Fair comment if labor issue and execution was the cause of the menu change. Offering a filet without an upcharge would have been an appropriate solution.
  11. Can someone confirm if Epic has switched to Coke products yet?
  12. Thank you for your empathy…lol. I, also, had a good idea what I might see after posting…but a few have caught me by surprise. While I am having “a moment” over the MDR change, it’s really a moment brought on by the cumulative changes. OTOH, my DH will be thrilled on all of our cruises since he is part of the masses.
  13. The masses aren’t the ones complaining as they are unaware of the changes. It’s those of us who are aware of what we purchased and what we’re getting once onboard. I realize the big print gives and the little print takes away…and NCL has very generously exercised their right to do so. We have three cruises this year, two of which required final payment before the end of the year. Am I complaining…yes.
  14. No, don’t sail till April, so Lord only knows what other changes will happen by then. Got this off a roll call post on another site.
  15. Looking like it. But you can buy a filet! IMO, the Wellington was the one item that made this menu special. And, the sides..big yawn.
  16. I (we DH and I) would love to be part of this bromance…lol. We will buy the next round…assuming it’s below $15…lol. Epic 2/15, Prima 4/30, Bliss 11/5. Any chance? Oh yeah, we would never interfere with first meeting..so…second day meet up! 🤣🥰
  17. First, NCL won’t make sure you get on an outbound flight. They seem to relinquish their responsibility at 72 hours out. If you don’t take the Delta flight out, they will cancel your flight and refund NCL. I think with Delta you may have to pay to upgrade to a main (not economy) ticket using your credit card to get an e-credit to your Frequent Flyer account. you will have to cancel entire flight if you’re not planning to do an in/out bound. We did two flights, one outbound and a different one back to ATL. Don’t know if this helps you decide… hope so.
  18. Will I get a refund if I cancel my flight? If you decide not to travel, our normal cancellation policy applies: Business Select®/Anytime tickets are refundable. You can choose to either a) receive a method-of-payment refund or b) hold the value of the ticket as a  flight credit  that you can use to buy a future flight. Hey, just saw these terms…maybe you can choose future credit. Remember, NCZl seems to release air reservations to SWA at 72 hours prior to departure do yhry don’t have liability.
  19. Ahh. Our tickets were Wanna Get Away tickets. Here is the terms associated with cancels on that rate: Can I get a refund for a Wanna Get Away® ticket? Wanna Get Away fares are not refundable, but we still offer a flexible cancellation policy. When you cancel a Wanna Get Away fare, the value of the ticket becomes a flight credit that you can use to buy a future flight. A few key points to keep in mind: If you have multiple people on your itinerary, each Passenger will retain a flight credit. A flight credit belongs to the individual named on the ticket regardless of who paid for the ticket. You must cancel the flight at least 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Otherwise, any Wanna Get Away funds will be forfeited. Hang on to your six-digit confirmation number (you can find it in your original confirmation email). You’ll need it when you use the flight credit to book a new flight. I guess we’ll see in two weeks if we got a SWA credit that we can use for better flights somewhere else in our future travels. Fingers crossed.
  20. Yeah, I’ve been watching it this morning too. I started at 10:30 San Juan time and it was very heavy traffic. Started to let up around 12:30. I’m really torn as we purchased Priority Access because I was going to see if we could get to Guest Services and snag one of the few Posh Passes. However, I’ve been doubting that strategy. We’re two weeks out, so post what your experience is next week if possible. Thanks.
  21. Yes, correct. Wrong word choice on my part. It’s going to be a hurry up and wait. But better to wait inside a building vs. in a taxi with meter running, or outside in the elements.
  22. @cfelbabthank you. There will be two ships again when we’re there. I was thinking like you…arrive earlier enough to get inside. Based on your experience, I am thinking a 9:15 arrival may put us between the departures and arrivals. And, I suspect the taxi driver could get a pickup after we’re dropped off. We will probably have a full ship, too…so getting on early for entertainment resvrs is a priority. Sorry OP if I hijacked your post.
  23. Hope you had a great cruise. What time did you get off the ship today? How was the inbound traffic at that time? We have an 11 am boarding time (the earliest offered) and we’re trying to determine arrival time to get into the building vs. standing outside in the sun.
