I just booked Aug 2023 10 day San Francisco for my family and kids

My order of preference is Panorama, Miracle, Radiance.

Have done the Panorama in Feb 2020.  Doing another 7 day on the Panorama 7 day mexican riviera April 2023 and looking forward to it.  It is a beautiful ship.  We really liked the Thermal Spa onboard and the Serenity deck even has a salad bar for lunch.

Yes, do it when you get onboard at the bar.  You can't buy in advance.

how strict are they on the Radiance 555 steak house for dress rules?  Will cargo shorts and flip flops with a t-shirt not be allowed?  Do they enforce these rules?

I was told by my Carnival PVP that kids do not need to be vaccinated for Alaska but at this time, they will not be able to get off in Victoria unless that changes.  We have Alaska booked for Aug 2023 so I am fairly certain even that rule will be dropped by then.

Does anyone know the boarding start time for Alaska and the last boarding time? Driving up from Socal.

I was told there is a parking garage at the terminal for $20 per day so that's not terrible for a 10 day cruise.

I agree.  I am not a big fan of Ensenada either.  I don't know of any other ports that a 3 day cruise could do in Mexico.

What will the Carnival Radiance do since the port of Ensenada is closed currently due to this cartel violence?

Do they stay out at sea? I thought there had to be an international destination open to port at. Or will they still dock just not allow people off the ship?

This is great news!  Booking a 3 day trip now with my kids.

I have always been told the ship will leave without you. 

So in theory, if a person(s) decided to stay in Cabo on first day, the second day at 7am when the ship returns for day two, you could get back on?  Was thinking if wife and I wanted to stay the night we leave everything onboard the ship we don't need and stay at a local hotel in Cabo.  Then get back on board the following morning when the ship returns at 7am

The 5 day Cabo day cruise on the Miracle, day three and four are both in Cabo.

On FB we join the specific date page and it is interesting to see all the people posting, "Well, we just got home and we are positive."  It is dozens of people, too.  Not just one or two.  We just got off Radience 4 day and the day after we got home, my wife and I both had covid.  Same with our friend that we met on the ship.

Hopefully drop the vaccine mandate soon.

On my last cruise in April this year, they gave me the $300 in Casino Free Play in 3 qty $100 bills at the cashier when I gave them my card.  They cross you off a list and made me sign for it

Our Cruise Manager still has Long Beach as the embarkation/debarkation city.

Cruise ships move around.  I am sure that cruise to Hawaii from LB is still good, I wouldn't see why not.

Well LB used to have the Imagination and Inspiration doing Ensenada Catalina 3 and 4 day trips  and had the Miracle doing 7 day trips.

Now, the Radiance does 3 and 4 day trips and Panorama does the 7 night trip so yes, 1 less ship.
