Security photo issue for me was the aspect ratio. However, on the last cruise they took a new one at the port.

No one asked for anything but the printed results for our cruises this year. They never looked at the app.

We used Blackberry Cars for the opposite direction transfer. We had an Executive MPV6 vehicle. There were two rows of facing seats for six and one more could go in the front passenger seat. They were easy to deal with, on time and found our apartment in a tricky spot in London. This will be quite a bit more cost effective than Princess from LHR and the convenience is great.

We certainly did not feel this way on our cruises this year. We do not eat the mints, there was a tote bag on the top shelf in the closet. When we wanted snacks at the bar, we sent someone to the buffet to get something we would like. The wifi was very good, the internet not so much. The distinction is that the shipboard functions work whether you have internet or not. The only function I used was to see where Mrs Zen and our friends were. We did have to buy a bar of soap at one port since I detest the bottles of lotion but that was not a particular tragedy. We enjoyed the food as well, particularly in the buffet where the range of choices was very good. It was not perfect, we had a few issues we had to get resolved. At one point they offered us a free Sabbatini's dinner for our trouble. Then they closed Sabbatini's for the rest of the trip. Had a wonderful time and did not want to get off the ship at the ends of the cruises.

It would make sense to have a federal registry but it is against the law here. I have printouts from two states and from my local health group but the card was all Princess wanted. We guard them very carefully.

Americans get a card nicely sized so that it does not fit into anything useful like a credit card pocket. That is what we have been showing. Our records are based on the individual states so, having had shots in more than one state makes a mess of the records. The card is right though. There was some restriction on the federal government about not keeping the immunization records on a nationwide basis.

There is a trick to the food or drink ordering. The ship has to detect where you are. That has been pretty hit or miss. A companion ordered drinks 5 times and got a delivery once. If you wear the medallion on your wrist or on the lanyard outside your clothes, it can often be found (you can actually turn your wrist and it will follow the direction the medallion is pointed). If you put it in your pocket or even put the lanyard directly against your chest, it probably will not work. If you try the location part of the app and it can find you it is probably safe to order something with a reasonable probability of getting it.

It can be. Talk to your waiter the first night and have him/her arrange it for you.

The 2022/2023 cruises from San Diego were mostly something to do with the Diamond Princess before it goes back to Japan where its normal itineraries are. So for next year it will probably be a different ship. I would assume they would want to do cruises from San Diego but you never know.

Ask the waiter and he will take care of it. Worked for us.
