  1. ... don't seem to have a bath! PG cabins on other Cunard ships do?
  2. Apparently the grill suite cabins have Illy coffee machines. Can anyone confirm if they are Nespresso compatible? I saw a good tip about taking your favourite coffee pods with you on a cruise. I like Little's flavoured coffee pods, which come in the original Nespresso shape & I'm not sure if they'll fit. Thanks
  3. Oh wow! Inside info! thanks 🙂
  4. Can anyone tell me when/if Cunard typically gives more precise details of arrival and departure times into cruise ports? And if they do give these details, where they'd post them? Looking at other boards, pax seem to know the scheduled time of arrival but the Cunard itinerary on the sales pages just says eg 'early morning' I want to book excursions independently but need some idea of when we'll arrive and depart.
  5. Have booked a Queens Grill cruise for 2024. Our only previous experience was a TA, so no stops. I'm wondering if you can get a packed lunch made to take on shore with you? If so, do you request in the restaurant/from the butler, how much notice do they need, is there even a packed lunch menu? Thank you
  6. Yes that's probably it. Thank you
  7. I wondered if anyone had found the Bright Lights Society Show Bar on the deck plans? The picture looks nice, but I can't locate it. Also I take it there is no Illuminations on the QA? So enjoyed this on the QM2. Will they be showing planetarium-type shows in the theatre, do you think? Thanks
  8. We sailed in suite 10044 last year, so next door to yours. The room was lovely - we were really happy with it. The one tip I would pass on is that the dining in PG is fairly flexible and you can chop and change within the menu and even order off menu. We didn't realise that until quite late on
  9. New to cruising (have only done the Transatlantic crossing before) and we're booked on H415 Queen Anne Norwegian Fjords cruise June '24. The ports are Bergen, Flaam, Olden and Haugesund. I'm trying to get my head around the 'getting on and off the ship' part! Can anyone tell me which of these stops will be tenders, vs. which we can just walk off (and presumably back on again, as and when we feel like it?). If one disembarks by tender, are there frequent tenders back and forth so you can come back to the ship for lunch if you want? (we'll be Queens Grill, if that makes any difference). Thanks
