I was wondering the same thing about the upgrades. I am being offered an upgrade to 4 different types of haven cabins and all except one are sold out on NCL. It seems strange to offer something that isn't available.

That could be different depending on the "available haven cabin" or due to what kind of cabin the bidder is upgrading from.

Thanks. Hahaha. I didn't intend the pun but I guess it works. Who knows we may actually be "in the same boat." I'm going on the Alaska Encore (July 24). I am seeing $1200 pp for the most min bid in "Haven proper" and that is $2400 more than I want to spend. I would love to try the Haven one day down the road.

I am in the same boat. What is the minimum you got for the Haven upgrade. I like the place where my booked cabin is located so hard to justify so much more money for the upgrade although I would love to try the haven.

Dear Sthrngary, Thank you so much for all the information in this post and your original Haven post. I have been reading and learning so much. Although we are going Haven lite for our first NCL cruise, I do have a question about Vibe Beach Club. I am sailing to Alaska on the Encore in a couple weeks and wonder if it is worth it since this is a cooler weather cruise than some others and not sure that beach chair lounging is something I will do much of on this type of cruise. Would you still suggest getting Vibe because of other amenities offered? Or would you skip for Alaska? Thank you so much, Denise
