  1. We are booked on the Joy for Aug 23rd. We have several rookie questions for you experts. 1) We selected the 9:30am check-in slot. However, lets say we are stuck in ridiculous traffic, (ship lease on a Tuesday) and miss our check in. Does that mean we cant check in at the port until all previous times are called? 2) We have two cabins (non-haven family suites) We received PRIORITY luggage tags in the mail. The online check in also show luggage tags but does not say priority. So, I am assuming if the luggage tags have priority, do we receive priority boarding? And why do you think the online tags don't show priority? 3) Should we be able to book the shows online. Because it looks like you should be then it says must be booked once on board. Is that an issue we are having, or is this for everyone? 4) We have a Nespresso machine in our room according to the reviews. However, are these machines hooked up to a waterline, or is bottled water supplied for the coffee maker? 5) Are the public areas typically kept very cool or comfortable, are light sweaters advisable? 6) Overnight in Bermuda, do we have to be back on board at a certain time, or is it come & go as you please? 7) I saw a picture of an NCL branded boat/tender docked in Bermuda. What is that for? 8 If we purchase non alcoholic beverages while in port, are they allowed on the ship? 9) Is there a car rental at port Canaveral? 10) Has anyone been on the Bermuda triangle night cruise excursion? Thanks in advance... 🙂
  2. For those of you wit( experience with NYC departures. What checkin in time would you select to avoid the biggest crowds?
  3. In the 3 main dining rooms. Taste, Savor & Manhattan room. Do you get to choose which venue you eat in? Also, do you know if they can accommodate a very picky 16yo athlete who likes very plain basic food like, grilled chicken, pasta, salads, steamed veggies, Salmon. Basically likes very simple flavors, no heavy sauces or overly seasoned foods? What about iced tea is that an extra charge?
  4. appreciate the link, unfortunately my codes were not on that list. It’s funny how i am turning to this community because NCL has been useless. One would think NCL should be able to easily tell me exactly what the codes represent. Enjoy your day…🤗
  5. The NCL rep who helped me book our cruise "ACCIDENTLY" sent me a screen shot of amenity add-ons. I cant share the screen shot because there is way too many bits of personal info. However, these look like things a TA could add on to a clients booking. Anyway, with the free at sea promo, only guests 1&2 receive the perks. We are in a NON Haven suite, I don't know ow if that changes those rules for additional passengers in the same suite. When you read the page, all passengers have a green check box with the code HSDISXIN Does that mean everyone in that same room has those amenities? Also, Added on to passengers 3-5 is the code EMP3M And for myself & my wife was added code DINP3H NCL has no clue what these are other than it has something to do with dining package. So, I'm trying to see if maybe there is a TA on this board who can figure what these codes actually mean. Thank you
  6. We are booked on the Joys AUG 23rd sailing out of NYC. The cruise begins mid week on a Tuesday. Don't know how bad traffic will be driving into lower Manhattan mid morning on a weekday. We are driving up from Maryland that morning, so any strategic input is greatly appreciated.
  7. My daughter want to do zip lining on NCL stirrup Cay. HOWEVER, I don't want to. Now under my name it shows the discount. So, does that only apply if I go as well? Or does she have to pay the full adult price with no discount?
  8. Thank you njhorseman. Im just nervous. our cruise is nit until Aug 23. im out of my comfort zone.
  9. 5 days ago we paid for 11 passengers on the Bermuda government site. we paid all 11 individually. However, it say processing is 24hrs. have not heard anything back yet. But we were charged $440 on our CC? should it take this long to get the email back?
  10. Hello, we are taking our first NCL Joy cruise in a few weeks time. We are a group of 11. Three families sharing 2 inside family suites. Please humor me in answering my questions. 1) In the included dining rooms, do they accommodate a party of 11, or will they split us up? 2) do we all have to checkin at the NY port at the same time or not? 3) is there self service laundry onboard 4) is parking at NYC cruise terminal the most convenient? 5) better port for snorkeling Harvest Cay or Bermuda? 6) we just got our priority luggage tags in the mail along with a letter about contacting the concierge with any requests. Is their anything we should be requesting that I don't know about, but should? 7) does the priority luggage tags also mean we can board early as well?
