We are looking into doing a Bermuda cruise from New York next year (2024). What are some transportation option from JFK to a cruise port hotel and then hotel to cruise port that don't require a car seat (if any exist)? Our children would be 2 and 4 at time of travel and we were hoping to not have to take car seats with us. Thanks 🙂

We are thinking of doing a Cruise to Bermuda next year (2024) from New York (would be in Bermuda for a few days) with our two kids (will be ages 2 and 4). What are some great family friendly activities/sights? Also we would probably be self exploring and taking the bus around the island. Any Bermuda family travel tips appreciated 😀 This would be our first family cruise...husband and I have been on cruises without kids before.

I haven't found anything. We have just decided to get off the ship (we travel carry-on only) explore by ourselves and then just get a taxi/Uber to the airport when we are done exploring. Sorry I cannot be of more help.

Hello, Can anyone recommend a car rental company that will rent for 1 day close to the cruise port? We don't need a fancy car. As long as it gets us around the island we are happy. Thanks Sarah.

We will be disembarking Celebrity Millennium on Feb 8, 2023. We dock at 6 am and our flight isn't until 1:50 pm. We do carry-on luggage only so we will be taking our luggage off the ship ourselves. The cruise line offers a few airport transfers that include some sightseeing. I would love to see a bit of Old SJ before going to the airport but the cruise line transfers are only available to people with flights after 3 pm. Does anyone have any recommendations for private tour companies that offers an airport transfer with Old SJ tour? Thanks 🙂

I am going on the Feb 2023 Celebrity Millennium Fort Lauderdale to SJ PR cruise. We arrive in SJ at 6 am our flights home are at 1:55 pm...does anyone know of a good tour/airport transfer that includes a guided or self-guided tour of old SJ? Celebrity has listed some however, flights need to leave after 3:30 pm to participate. Thanks 🙂

Heading to the Caribbean in February 2023 on Celebrity and will be visiting: Nassau, Bahamas Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas Philipsburg, St Maarten Castries, St Lucia Bridgetown, Barbados And wondering which destination would be the best for snorkeling? Would love to see as many species of marine life as possible. Thanks 🙂

We will be visiting St Maarten as part of our February 2023 Celebrity cruise. As the island is small I am wondering if it would be better to hire a rental car for the day (docked 8 am to 5 pm) and do our own sight seeing or do a planned excursion? We have driven in many countries and are experienced backpack type travelers. Curious how much a one day car rental would be? If I should book a car in advance? And if there are car rentals within walking distance of the cruise port? Thanks for the help! Happy cruising 🙂

Just booked myself and my husband on Celebrity Millennium for the February 2023 Fort Lauderdale to San Juan cruise. It's our second time cruising and we are excited (our first cruise was for our honeymoon to Alaska over 8 years ago...pre all the great new cruise tech like apps etc.). However, I have noticed on the app that only excursions for our first port (Bahamas) are listed/available for booking. Just curious if other more experienced cruiser can let me know when Celebrity typically releases their excursions for booking? Thanks and happy cruising!
