I just did an on-line chat with NCL & was told that in-port sales tax doesn't apply to drinks if you have the drinks plan. Makes sense as the "purchase" did not occur in port.

We're excited for our upcoming cruise next month & would like to plan specialty dinner nights but of course don't want to miss something great in the main dining rooms. It's my understanding that the dailies mention featured items - true? I've searched but haven't found anything recent. Or will we just have to wait until we get onboard? thanks!
