Cruising with MSC

See above. Officially cancelled

I’ve just seen an official email from MSC in Italy that Seaside is dry docking 23rd - 29th October. our cruises are cancelled

Yes that’s the worry. Along with reports from Spain that a TA has said 20th - 27th is cancelled.

Thank you. I think it may be a lasting repair. People are saying that those embarking in Spain on the 20th have been cancelled. Guess we have to wait and see

Is anyone aware of Seaside needing an emergency repair? I’m booked on 22nd October from Genoa for 7 nights and others are saying it’s cancelled!

Many thanks Raj. I thought our best YC experience was 2016 onboard Divina. Thought there was a less personal service on Meraviglia YC. Guess that lowers my expectations which is a good thing prior to boarding

Thanks very much dexddd. We had similar in Miami. Also disembarked in a very hot Genoa and by the time we got home the ship had started to lose the detail 😀 will definitely miss them

I was told onboard Virtuosa that some MSC sailings had over 50% diamond members onboard. It was becoming a logistical nightmare/impossibility. I’m glad of not having the hassle of it, will it melt on the way home etc….

Been on a couple of cruises - non Yacht Club last/this year. Have a Virtuosa Yacht Club cruise September 27th. Just wondering about general atmosphere and changes.
