So, I booked a 12 day European cruise for September 2025. A ways away. I’ve been to some of the ports before but have 3 new ones. Love Greece! Pre-cruise in Rome. Love Rome!
I would be interested to hear comparisons between Royal and Crystal. Thinking about an European cruise next year (May or September).
I've sailed Royal before but it's been a while.
So, if 3 people are staying in a cabin, usually the first 2 are charged the full price of the cruise and the 3rd a lesser price. Should the 3rd person contribute to the total fare and not just his or her portion?
I would like to hear from those who have cruised Princess. Pros, cons. I don’t want anything rigid, etc. but do want some class, etc. I do not want to sound like a snob. I’m not. Just exploring different possibilities. Thanks!
Yes, I'm flying over and spending 2 days in Rome before. I did a Mediterranean cruise 17 years ago! I was in Rome for 2 days then but the iteniary was different. No Greek isles as this is. I know it's not like the Caribbean and I am older! LOL The first day I'm in Rome is on my own schedule and I have 2 excursions the next day. The cruise is 10 days and I have excursions for all ports so I know I'll have to rest and pace myself. Thanks for the input!
Thank you! I don't mind the suggestions about smaller luggage. I just know what I like to take. The one lady who was trashing Carnival (my cruise) saying I didn't need a formal, etc. I didn't ask for her opinion on a cruise line! I think some people are just miserable and try anyway to try and bring someone down. Not me. I could care less your opinion on the cruise line. I've traveled Carnival numerous times and have always had a blast!
