Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. $2.50 for me at home. I think I still have time to slop some polish on my toes and scrub the excess off of my skin the next day. Yep, that’s how much of a barbarian I am. I think a house full of boys has done me in. 😂
  2. Ugh, that’s terrible! I was hoping for a good sports massage or something of that nature for my husband. He has a pulled muscle right now that’s killing him. Massages are not a huge deal for me. I can never relax. Strangers touching me creeps me out a bit. A rare pedicure is about the most I’m willing to do. That’s only because I am terrible at painting my toenails.
  3. I still wouldn’t be shocked if the little sh**s found a way to boil Vienna sausages in a Keurig. Teenagers have seriously loose screws…with that being said, there are quite a few adults who do as well. 😂
  4. The schools don’t put kids up in *fancy* hotels with Keurigs when they go to competitions. Thank goodness. They stay in normal hotels with real coffee makers.
  5. Diet Coke is my morning caffeine of choice. If someone wants Sanka, Starbucks, or a hotel coffee maker is on them.
  6. My husband won’t use coffee makers inside hotel rooms. He’s not trusting of the cleaning practices-frequency/thoroughness. You would be surprised by what people do with them…like boil hotdogs for example. Our son told us about his high school marching band peers doing just that. That’s really tame though…
  7. It sounds as though I will utilize our concierge quite a bit and they go above and beyond. Is there a separate envelope or something of that nature to tip them from?
  8. Thank you! The kids will especially be excited to see whales. I’m pretty sure they’ve never seen them outside of captivity.
  9. Oooh, I didn’t know about that! That will be nice. Yes, the wraparound balcony was what sold us on that particular room. We had no focus on the perks when we booked. It’s about the balcony! We’ll be able to extend it more when we open up the divider between our rooms. It’s nice to find out more about all the little extras we get though!
  10. Yes, we did book a few. Several were already full when we did. *I added in some geocaching for fun!
  11. Thank you! I will likely do that with Pinnacle now after looking at the menu-especially since it appears they no longer have king crab legs on their menu as an entree. Tamarind’s menu looks wonderful. They have a ton of availability our first night. I know my boys would rather have sushi than anything. I looked at Nami sushi’s menu and the offerings were uninspired. Perhaps the menu is different on the ship. I prefer to eat later, but I’m not sure I could get my parents on board. We’ll see…
  12. Thank you! I talked to my husband and we both agree that’s a fantastic idea we never would have thought of. We’re picking one and will get it booked.
