Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. my husband would be able to pick us up from the Disney cruise terminal and drive us to the Carnival terminal so we will not have to walk with our luggage. And I will definitely be getting travel insurance just in case. I just really want to make this work. The Carnival cruise is scheduled to depart port at 4:00. Will all aboard time be 3:00? Or is it earlier?
  2. My daughter and I are going on a Disney cruise with her dance studio November 10-13. I just booked a Carnival cruise for November 13-18 for us plus my husband and 5 sons. Both cruises are out of Port Canaveral. Am I making a big mistake? I was so excited about this idea but what if the Disney cruise is delayed and my daughter and I don't make it onto the Carnival ship in time? Is this a doable situation or is this going to be a disaster??
  3. We are going Jan 26-Jan 30. Since it is a weekend I figure there will be some kids, but since it's right after Christmas break but before spring break I am hoping for lower crowd levels
  4. I am thinking of taking just my 3 oldest kids (ages 14, 13, and 11) on a short 4 day cruise in January. I would LOVE to surprise them on Christmas. What are some fun things I can wrap for them to open on Christmas so they can find out we are going on a cruise?
  5. Hi yall My husband and I have 6 children. We are hoping to take our first family cruise in 2023. The kids will be 14, 13, 11, 9, 6, and 2, or possibly 1 year older depending on when we go.I went on one Carnival cruise with my parents and sister when I was a freshman in high school. Other than that none of us have been on a cruise. So my questions are, which line is going to be the most fun for the kids and the best value? With 6 kids I know it is going to be pricey but we really need "best bang for the buck" vacation ;)We live in NC and don't mind driving 8-9 hours to a port, but obviously closer is better. Looking at Baltimore, Charleston, Jacksonville, Orlando, or Tampa. The little one will most likely NOT be potty trained because he is incredibly stubborn LOL He turns 2 in November and is showing zero signs of being ready. I homeschool so we can go any time of year. What months are typically the cheapest for cruising? Anything else I need to consider?
