  1. @janetzWe will absolutely be posting the show times, the dailies, and provide some type of assessment on how busy events were that we attend.
  2. “I’m a big guy, I’m 6’6”.” Yeah you are! I poke fun, but really it’s a reflection of how many hours of his content I’ve watched. His videos are great. He’s doing Poseidon’s work.
  3. They do. They’re in each bedside lamp. At least according to Harr Travel, including a large variety of other things (I really love his detailed videos, I just need a larger variety of phraseology).
  4. This guy looks like he’ll sell you candy out of a panel van. That’s not me.
  5. We will post as many pictures as the internet connectivity will allow. We will include shows, show times, scans of the dailies. Thanks for sharing what you'd like to see.
  6. He's really underselling the location. He hasn't cruised before, so I'll forgive the ignorance. This was something unique to me about NCL. When I hear inside cabin my mind goes to a forward or aft maze of rooms begging to get lost after the fourth rum punch. His stateroom is in a corridor shared by only seven other staterooms and is DIRECTLY off the elevator lobby. This means less running into people in the hallways and feeling guilty about the two desserts in the MDR. This means being "home" immediately after climbing several decks of stairs. This is a great feature on NCL; I hope it lives up to my imagination once on the ship.
  7. Already planning on visiting every bar (minus the Haven that is out of reach) for the sake of reviewing. Drunken antics are sure to ensue. They are absolutely welcome in my balcony stateroom. Without another traveller all my items will be stowed, and the room should look as in place as it was on embarkation day.
  8. Happy to be apart of this live. Cruise Critic, and other forums, have been a great source of information. I think both of us see this as a way to "give back" and the add value to our already highly valuable getaway. Maybe TMI but both @New2cruise2022and I have large families, busy work schedules, and lives that demand the overwhelming majority of our time. Because of all of that, we rarely see each other despite living in one another's AirPod affixed at all times. This will be a vacation for us in every sense of the word. I do feel like I won the upgrade daily double moving from a studio to a BA balcony. The high re-sale value on the Studios probably explains most of my upgrade. I was excited to see what 99ft² felt like, but the ability fully stretch each morning, see the ocean, and not be located in a maze is more exciting. Even though I have cruised before, this is my first time flying to port. Is it weird that I am on FlightAware tracking my plane more than 72 hours in advance? This is my first go at NCL and can't wait to see how it compares to past sailings on RCL and DCL.
  9. Do you have insight on this? We've been checking RedTag 2-5 times per day over a week now. The inventory has shifted heavily in BOTH directions. We've seen the Haven appear and disappear many times (this is likely people running the quote and occupying the room for curiosity). The Haven makes sense. What doesn't make sense is the 40+ insides that disappeared. There's no way they sold them, right? The balconies have come and gone and come back again. It's all very strange. If you or anyone has insight on this I'll be very interested. I will be looking/asking on the ship to see how full it really is. We think there's no less than 50 staterooms that are vacant, even if all of them are insides.
  10. I think they send them whenever they feel. I thought for sure if I was accepted, it would be last week to capture revenue in 2022. The Haven is pretty much sold out. I've been tracking inventory on RedTag for a little over a month now. If I am looking at things right, I believe my upgrade came with about 23 other balcony upgrades. There were 44 balconies available on RegTag last week. The number is 21 today. I think only the Owners is available in The Haven now.
  11. I had my doubts too. I've got my fingers crossed for you.
  12. For those still waiting to hear on upgrades for this sailing. I just had my bid accepted. From a studio to a balcony. They accepted $105 (minimum +$5) for the upgrade. All in, spent $210 for this upgrade over my base fare for a Studio. Good luck to all others looking to upgrade!
  13. My cardiologist thanks you for sharing this pro tip. *click*….*click*…*click click*…*click click click click click click click click*
  14. You're right that it's not like grabbing a seat on SWA. My stateroom will be the same no matter what time I arrive. However, my seat in the comedy club and in the theater are very much like SWA. I view my cruise from a value perspective. I paid my cruise fare from 12p (ish) on embarkation to 8a (ish) on disembarkation day. Anytime spent not on the ship between 12p-4p on embarkation day is value lost. Everyone cruises their own way. The sooner I get on the ship, the sooner my drink package is working for me.
  15. I've checked the webcam several times and typically see it empty. Is the bow open to passengers at all times or is it limited for special occasions like passing through the canal?
