  1. As per previous reply, 5 spirits, 3 wines, 1 Moet and 4 beers. Yes, we don't drink Vodka and it was swapped out for gin after us asking. This was done the day after. From what I understood, they just look at all swap requests from all guests and then just "negotiate" with other Rockstar agents to get it done. Champagne hour was 5-6 on our cruise.

    casino

$10 BJ, $10 Craps, $5 roulette on outside numbers, $1 numbers. Think I may have seen 3 card poker. Thought casino was either too busy to play or too empty to enjoy...
  3. Being 100% honest, we mostly stuck to beers, wine and the odd spirit and mixer so the quality was what it was. Service was fast and quick. They did seem to have less stocked than on the menu. A few beer and wine choices were unavailable throughout, which makes me wonder if they ever fully stock. We were Rockstars and can say Richards Rooftop and 1 hour champagne hour was great. The mini bar in the room was totally excessive and we took most of it home. We had $400 bar tab and spent $398 over the 5 days, mostly alcohol and a few coffees. I'd say we drank a fair amount, for reference (though no premium cocktails). One downside of the ship on this full sailing, as many have said, is the size of the pool. It was mad busy and crazy, couldn't even move. That's where Richards Rooftop came into it's own. Hope this helps others. Happy to answer any other questions.
  4. We did similar and had Shirin (same cruise). Service in Galley was excellent throughout. Only downside was ordering from 2 places (say smoked salmon sandwich and then poached eggs separately), these came at different times.. But that's to be expected. As a first time cruiser I was impressed. And that sailing was 100% capacity I was told. 2400+.
  5. Do they water bottles inboard we can refill? Forgot ours!
  6. Hi all Last minute prep before flying off to Miami for our (my) first cruise. Understand we need to take our own bottle for water. Should I also bring similar for filter coffee? Toiletries. Do the suites (Rockstar if that makes a difference) have shampoo and shower gel? I don't really care what it is, as long as it cleans me... Or do I need to bring my own? Thanks as usual, bring on Sunday.
  7. Hi Going on the Mayan Cruise on May 21st. This isn't really VV related as such, but do we need bug spray?! Ship, Bimini, Cancun, Miami? Thanks Alex
  8. Misread, sounds a good idea! Though flights ex US seem very expensive. The only thing I would suggest is seeing if there is anything to another European airport (like JetBlue to Amsterdam) then connect to BCN. I doubt there will be much value in that though.
  9. It's for a "Even Bigger Terrace" so guess that excludes 14
  10. Currently have a Sweet Aft Suite - can put a bid in for a Cheeky Corner Suite (same floor) for USD250 for a 5 night cruise, so approx $50 per night. I know this is subjective but does anyone think this is worth it for the extra space? Cheers, Alex
  11. Hi again What do you think the chances are of a Premier league game being shown on the ship is (Scarlet out of Miami)? This is a Monday evening game in UK, so early afternoon on a sea day. Is there a bar that might just show this or where can ask? They'd usually be on ESPN or FoxSports? Thx
  12. Just to be clear, this is not what I meant. I just meant if they get their earlier as some posts suggest by design.
  13. Annoying if the final night in the casino is cut short..... 🙂
  14. Random question from a first timer. Bimini to Miami seems close and yet if I'm not mistaken we depart 8pm and arrive 6am. Is it really a 10 hour crossing or do they just take it mega easy?
  15. Amazing. I was thinking Wake first night dinner and last morning brunch 🙂
  16. Is the Wake open on disembarkation day for brunch? Sounds a lovely way to end the trip especially as we have a hotel and won't be able to check in til quite late, so the longer we stay on the ship, the better!
  17. Counting down the days, bookings for food open soon. I appreciate there will be more slots on board but gonna book some in whilst I can. Of course, there are a lot of eateries but as far as bookable, restaurant ones am I right in thinking it's just these: - Wake - Pink Agave - Extra Virgin - (Korean BBQ) - Razzle Dazzle - Test Kitchen ? So essentially on a 5 night cruise, we can pretty much go 5/6? Am I missing any?
  18. Thanks all. Seems I best get there ASAP. Would make sense. Probably have a leisurely breakfast and check out at 12 and go to port. We will be in Coral Gables.
  19. Hi We are staying in a suite and booked a 1:45 time. I don't want to lose this slot. If by any chance on the day we decide we want more time in Miami, will we face any issue if say we turn up at 4pm? Much appreciated Alex
  20. Thanks all. I agree with diabetic needs, but not sure tonics so I can drink more gin will cut the mustard as "needed" 😂
  21. Thanks, that's some menu! Presumably I can bring my own onboard?
