3 good days, all for different reasons; MS is horrible and certainly deserves attention. It's raining 🌧 again so Mother Nature is handling water duties for me. Not sure I'm fully in on the quote- I think we can (and do) learn from happiness and peace. I'm in on the meal, drink and wine; been to the port a couple times but no pictures as they're on the computer and I'm on my phone. It was 75° headed to 81° when I checked a couple hours ago. The continued storms are really impacting crews ability to get power restored. Utility Co brought people in from all over (as far away as eastern seaboard) to help get power back to the 600,000+ people who were w/o; reports are they'll be mostly complete Fri evening and fully complete Sat AM. Thankfully we have power - prayers 🙏 for those who don't. Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.

While we've enjoyed BB's, Rolling Stone and Ocean Bar have not disappointed us once. Of course, musicians do change out, but we've found them to be constantly good. We have been disappointed recently on K'dam and NS w/Billboard Onboard, but I understand there have been changes (single vs dual performers) that might impact our opinion. As others have said, AK is the star and HAL does a very good job. We were last in AK on Eurodam April / May 2023 and throughly enjoyed it. I hope your cruise is just as fabulous.

Have not seen a timeline for that and it's not frequently done. TA has to sign off on it, which likely they won't do due to loss of commission. HAL definitely will not initiate that "reverse" transfer.

I've always had them in suites, but verandah has been hit/miss. My only inside cabin did not have one. They are available at the gangway, so you can pick one up as you scan out. Or if a smaller one will do, the compact ones are lightweight and take up little room.

Three great days to celebrate today - 529 accounts are a great help w/pricey education costs. Pass on the meal (chickpeas but sounds yummy w/chicken) and drink, would try the wine, been to Anchorage once (no pictures, frustrating experience) & look forward to seeing pictures. Yesterday was a bust - Mavs🏀 lost, so we go to game 5, trees 🌳branches and debris aplenty from the storm (dodging them added 15 min to the drive to eye Dr) and allergies again prevented the Dr from doing the procedure. So, I'm the proud recipient of a new Rx, a lecture about the evils of eye rubbing, and freshly inserted eye plugs. We'll try again in 2 weeks. 🤞the plugs help; she says she can pop them out if I don't like them. Thanks to everyone for their input during my research. Currently 70° headed to rainy 82°. Forecast estimates worst of the rains between 10-12, so I should just miss them returning from this morning's Dr appt. Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.

This has been my experience, too - called in and HAL applied both GC and CC to a single transaction. Also done using a TA. Updated booking confirmation correctly reflected the split payment.

Hi - looks like you booked an Oceanview not an interior. There are a few interiors w/windows, but the windows are small, not full height like you will have Although it's classified as partially obstructed, you will have a clear view straight out your windows, unlike the cabin next to you that will have a lifeboat view. I always get a balcony but was very pleased with the Oceanview I had - the natural light and water view make a difference. Have you looked on halfacts.com to see if there are pictures of your cabin?

DH is far from a light sleeper, but deck 8 was a 1 & done for him. He asked where they housed the herd of elephants 🐘 that ran amuck bumping into chairs and tables🫣🙄 We were aft below Seaview Pool & Bar.
