  1. I've never tried to pre-order, so I can't comment on that. Service time is fairly quick depending on how crowded they are as sandwiches, etc are made to order. I think the longest I've waited is probably less than 10 min.
  2. Love the beautiful pictures @Quartzsite Cruiser @GTVCRUISER thanks for posting them. Thanks @cat shepard for the SD port suggestions - I will try some if them next time I cruise from SD. I have a few pictures I will post when I'm out of this Dr office (sitting in exam room now - I think they forgot about me).
  3. Thanks for the beautiful pictures @StLouisCruisers
  4. 3 important days today and a big day in history for late-night TV. The meal sounds good says the spinach, I would definitely try the drink and wine, all visits to San Diego have been for cruises but I've not explored the city. @kazu I'm glad Ivan is ok, but that's sad and scary that he was attacked. I hope your hear something soon on yourfoot.. Headed back to surgeon's office... Currently 77Β° headed to 86Β° w/thunderstorms beginning around 1. There's a flood watch again today. Prayers πŸ™ and positive thoughts for all.
  5. Congrats and job well done! It was probably a very recent cancelation.
  6. Yikes! Those aren't small. Good to read you didn't find any damage. We know how quickly hail storms can pop up - stay safe.
  7. I would jump on that deck 6 aft cabin. The wake views are fabulous!! Since you don't get any actual spa perks, IMO the spa on 10 is not worth it. I've stayed in one and loved it because of the proximity to the Crow's Nest (hence great coffee just a few steps away) and to the spa (I had a Thermalpass that I used 2x/day) but nothing beats a true aft wake view.
  8. Glad you found it - yes, HAL website is far from the best. But glad you're here and I hope you continue to ask questions and enjoy your cruise!
  9. So, I'm 0 for 2 this morning - shoulder surgeon was not in (he's at the hospital) so they told me to come back tomorrow and the tire had to be replaced. The good news is I got a wild hair and called the tree🌳 removal guy; he was only a few blocks away and came right over. He's able to get us on the schedule in less than a month, likely 2ish weeks depending on how much room he has on the trailers when he's near us. I told him I'd be flexible and to fit us in w/whatever works in his schedule. I understand all the rain has really messed everyone up and I appreciate his partnership. So, I guess the Universe traded me time w/an Ortho for an Arborist- it knows the damage the trees are causing to the roof & gutters. Silver lining?πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ I'll take my wins where I can find them.
  10. Thanks @grapau27 for educating me on tea day; that's an important cause. Pass on the meal (although @dfish pics are pretty) and drink, would try the wine, not been to the port and look forward to the pictures (@StLouisCruisers yours are lovely). This morning I bet the surgeon says my shoulder is still not moving enough for surgery, but 🀞 I'm wrong. And if I am, that he signs the papers. Sometimes it's good to be wrong - today would be one of those times.πŸ™„ After Dr is a stop by tire shop to get a nail removed from tire; hope they don't try to sell me a new one. Then will go by the produce store for radishes. That's it for today - after all that driving, I'll be doubling up on the eye drops. πŸ™ all goes well for @JazzyV BFF and @kazu today and @ger_77 DH tomorrow. Currently 75Β° headed to cloudy 88Β° with rain starting tomorrow. DH needs to get the flowers in the ground so they can benefit from the rain. Prayers πŸ™ and positive thoughts for all.
  11. Such a sweet picture. I love that he head butts you - our fur babies instinctively know the way to our hearts.πŸ’•
  12. Muster is now done by watching a safety video on your stateroom TV. You only have to go to your muster station to get your card scanned.
  13. Happy Victoria Day πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ for those who celebrate it.πŸ₯‚ Thanks @0106 for the explanation of Draw Mohammed Day - I will pass. The 3rd salad from @dfish sounds & looks YUMMY, would try the drink & wine (if it were attainable), not been to the port. Hugs @Heartgroveto you and Sam. πŸ™ @RMLincoln for a smooth eye appointment today and @JazzyV BFF surgery tomorrow goes well. Thanks @StLouisCruisers for the beautiful cake pictures - such a talented group of bakers. Currently 79Β° headed to sunny 91Β° w/rain returning Wed. Prayers πŸ™ and positive thoughts for all.
  14. My top 2 are the Collagen and the Superfood. I usually get the Superfood since it's not offered at my local land spa, but the Collagen is. I do buy products online direct from Elemis (at a discount) and as @LAFFNVEGAS said, they really tone down the sales pitch when I tell them that.
  15. Welcome to HAL! The HIA package basically includes 1 specialty dining per 7 days, not per day. I think I've seen the max is 3 dinners, but could be wrong.
  16. Oh no @Nickelpenny - an invasion is a violation and can be scary. I hope the light and lock prevent future "visits." They either moved quickly or were there a while to empty the container rather than just take it. Hapy to hear your "test drive " was a success and hope the walk goes well.
  17. 3 good days now that I know what May Ray is. Pass on the meal (salmon), the drink sounds refreshing, DH would like the wine, not been to the port. The day in history was a big one for the future USA. @1ANGELCAT prayers πŸ™ for your friend Shirl and her son; that is a difficult time for both of them. @Cruzin Terri I hope you feel better soon. @Heartgrove happy to hear SamπŸ• is still doing well. Congrats @Mr. Boston to Nick on his graduation πŸŽ“ my DD DB the younger did his undergrad at Notre Dame. @Sharon in AZ your multi-generation πŸ• celebration sounds lovely. Thanks @RMLincoln for the πŸ’ update.😊 Today is a trip to pick up mulch then getting flowers in the ground. Currently 73Β° headed to sunny 91Β° w/another ozone action day; I already can't breathe and my eyes itch soooo bad. Prayers πŸ™ and positive thoughts for all.
  18. Thanks Maureen @RMLincoln; I alternate between telling myself I'm being a baby and saying there's no such thing as being overly cautious with eyes. I think your DH is amazingly brave and I pray πŸ™for the best outcome & successs for you both.
  19. My understanding is they're handmade in Netherlands. Some of my older ones have a small mark on the bottom. You can order and have shipped as @Gail & Marty sailing away said or you can buy onboard. They make wonderful gifts. HAL has the best florists.
  20. Yay - MavericksπŸ€ won so they're on their way to the next round!! it was a 2 berry game as they won by only one 1 point. The other berry was just a tasty memory when I thought to take a picture. This was the smaller one, but just as tasty.
  21. Fabulous!! πŸ‘ I'm sure that wine will be the tastiest ever. Looks so calming.
