Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Agree. It is a lot per day even for the basic package. Charging more than city centre London prices - and that tops the whole of the UK ( barring probably the more illustrious hotel establishment). I suppose it’s not every day your on a cruise however so it is what it is.
  2. thanks for speedy response. I've seen a couple of you-tube reviews of the ship and I think I understand now.
  3. Were off on Silhouette next month and just realised we have an adjoining cabin, but we are not going with anyone else so this wont be used as such. In relation to the other posts, about brown doors making a sort of vestibule and yellow doors being the main doors to your suite, does this mean that the cabin is smaller in length [entrance door to veranda] than the normal " non adjoining cabins"
  4. That’s a good point. Does anyone recall how many you can bring on board. Not sure myself but did read that they confiscate ( for collection at end of cruise) if you have too many. Also is there is a corkage charge if you drink in your cabin.
  5. if a price for a drink is say $13 and your allowance is $12 [in UK sailings] do you just pay the sifference plus gratuity? ie $1 plus gratuity
  6. To see individual prices - go to app - at bottom click on 1. Dining 2. Bars & Lounges 3. The particular bar/s on your ship 4. Menu this shows the individual prices
  7. It's very confusing. When you go on line to the packages they list the drinks [no mention of soft drinks or cocktails] but I think they must have each drink priced seperately [go to Dining/Bars&Lounges/?bar name?/show menu ] and you can get that drink FOC up to $12 under classic package [from UK] . "This package also entitles you to enjoy a 15% discount on wines by the bottle and drinks up to $10 ($12 for sailings departing from UK and AUS ports)." Here's a link for compariing packages [this is UK website but is same for main website ] All-Inclusive Cruise Drink Packages | Celebrity Cruises
  8. Thanks for your speedy reply. Well thats a start. What about coffee / tea or basic cocktails
  9. First time of cruising with X. We have classic drinks package but honestly. I like the odd beer and glass of winebut certainly couldnt keep the pace of drinking alcohol all day. My wife may have a cocktail or wine with orange. There is no mention of soft drinks or coffee etc other than under the premium offering. Is that really the case?
