  1. Yes, with the new air program beginning July 1. Oceania will be able to quote air for all future cruises. This does not mean they will have itineraries but they will have pricing.
  2. Oceania will quote air on any cruise you book, no matter how far out it is.
  3. It means the moment the cruises are released for sale.
  4. Please reread my post: Airfare can be added to any reservation at the time of booking and air pricing is available on all itineraries from the moment they are released for sale."
  5. I don't really care whether you believe what I am saying or not. This is directly from the Oceania VP of Global Sales FAQ document. "How far in advance is air available for bookings? Airfare can be added to any reservation at the time of booking and air pricing is available on all itineraries from the moment they are released for sale." FlyerTalker, I will no longer reply to your posts.
  6. Theoretically, yes, you would have service in international waters. However, on my recent Oceania cruise that included countries without Starlink, I was at times only able to have a connection between 1:00 and 3:00AM.
  7. I cannot tell you how Oceania is doing this only that this is how the program will work. If you book a cruise with air 18 months out, Oceania will have pricing for the air.
  8. They will not be able to tell you what the specific flights are but they will be able to tell you the price. Even with the current air program, they do not tell you the specific flights until 60-70 days out, in most cases, unless you request a flight deviation.
  9. With regard to dynamic pricing, this from Oceania, "Air pricing is dynamic and fluid, dependent on the itinerary, gateway(s), and availability at the time of booking, among other factors." If you have any questions, let me know.
  10. I am on this cruise. I inquired with Oceania Special Services and was told that there is no Starlink in any of the African countries on the itinerary. I reached back and asked if Oceania will be using an alternate service. Stay tuned.
  11. The details are in the original post.
  12. Look at the Oceania website on July 1.
  13. The information came directly from the Oceania VP of sales and head of the air department.
  14. The information came from a webinar I attended with the VP of sales.
  15. You will be able to get pricing for air for all cruises, even those 2 years out.
  16. Beginning July 1, 2024 the only Simply More published pricing will be without air. Either an Oceania agent or TA will be able to add Oceania Air and the fare will be determined by the city you’re departing from. Oceania is calling this dynamic pricing. Everything else will remain the same, including transfers.
  17. Atlas sends information in the mail or FedEx 3 weeks prior to departure that will include all of the detailed port information.
  18. Some countries do not allow Starlink. We were on Riviera Singapore to Dubai with several stops in India and the UAE. Neither country allowed Starlink. I had to do my internet business beginning at 1:00am when we were far enough out from the port. I had 2-3 hours before the connection was lost. It was a nightmare.
  19. Which room categories on R ships have bathtubs? Thank you.
  20. The port fees with Atlas are $50 per person, per day, no matter the itinerary. When I look at pricing for any cruise, I add the extra taxes/fees, and look at the bottom line. I don't care how a cruise line breaks down the fare, it's the final total that counts.
  21. Bottom line with Atlas website pricing, the right column is the price per person, including all promos, plus the port fees that are listed at the bottom of the grid.
  22. It looks like Great Stirrup Cay does not open until Oct 17.
  23. Oceania, like all cruise lines, have limitations when changing an itinerary due to weather. 1. They can only cover so many miles. This is one reason why we are going to Nassau. Other Caribbean islands are too far from NYC for a 7-day cruise. 2. They must visit a foreign port. 3. There must be dock space. Given these parameters, Nassau was likely the only option.
  24. Current itinerary is arrive Nassau Sept 16 in the morning and depart Sept 17 at 6:00PM. You are correct. Cruise ships must visit at least one foreign port. Also correct that Grand Turk is further than Nassau by 250 miles. I'm no fan of Nassau but it's likely that Oceania had no choice.
  25. Mechanical issues are within the control of the cruise line, to some extent. Weather is not.
