I am trying to convince my brother in law to join our 14 day Panama Canal cruise out of SD in December, but he HAS to work the first 5 days making phone calls. He has Verizon. Does anyone have experience with this? The pay per minute option won’t work since he will be on the phone 8+ hours a day. My sister doesn’t want to go without him, so I am trying to find a solution. I was thinking he could just use my phone and I’ll get the unlimited AT&T cruise calling package? Anyone use that before?

We just got off the Ruby Princess as first time Princess sailors and Sabatini’s far outshone Crown Grill in every way. My husbands filet was delivered raw 3 times. My steak was really tough (hard to cut or chew) so I traded it out for a filet (medium cook ordered) and it was delivered raw also. So we gave up and went to the buffet. The really nice waiter we had said they have a new chef and “many people” were sending their steaks back recently. The best thing they had was the garlic cheese bread.

Same here. I called Customer Service and asked which package I had and they stated Premiere. On my “Dine my way” it shows 2 Specialty Dining credits, so it makes me feel better that I am indeed Premiere in the system. 🤞🏻Hopefully the same for everyone caught in the Matrix.

I just watched a tip that once you are on board you can TEXT Guest Services instead of standing in line through the app. Has anyone tried this, and how well did it work?

I booked using my credits, canceled and changed the times, and it charged my credit card and shows credits still available 🤷🏼‍♀️ My TA said just go to guest services on the ship.

Has anyone ever rented snorkel gear in Galveston to take with them in their cruise? Where did you rent from? 🙂

I appreciate your kindness. Not my first cruise, just my first cruise with Princess, so I have quite a few questions. I am just amused at how much my innocent question has offended some people 🙃

Yes, I watched Crazy Rich Asians on a plane then was surprised by the language when I showed it to my mom. 🤣 And that is how I found out that (at least some) airplanes show edited movies…

We did get the upgrade for a few reasons (I do drink, my husband does not, but Heineken Zero and ODouls will make him happy).  He like games of chance, so he would have played Princess Prizes, now it's included.  I love fitness classes, so would definitely do many of them. Juice bar also a draw for us (have to balance those martini's with some veggies, no?).  I like that I can order a nice wine and not worry about upcharge (if it was just this, wouldn't be worth it, but it's all the things in our case...). We are platinum but 4 devices each is nice (yes, we could sign out, sign in, now we don't have to.. all the things).  We will be celebrating our 20th, and absolutely would have done two specialty dinners, so throw that in.

 

Notice how I skipped those deserts (especially the ones with the little liquor bottle - cue evil laugh....)  The upgrade made sense for us.  We are six weeks away from our 4/14 departure and can't wait to experience... all the things..

Just not wanting to be walking to get ice cream with the kids and have 25 foot tall naked people, etc. 😵

We are cruising soon with our kids and want to know if they filter the MUTS movies for language, etc to make them family friendly like on airplanes? 

We have 4 people so our TA recommended Lyft or Uber ($50 each way in average)
