Thanks, everyone. I will definitely "live up to my commitments" and I've already paid port fees and taxes. I just wondered if I could physically sleep in the other room with my husband. I see that many of you have been in a similar situation and I appreciate your input. We have offers ranging from Neptune suites to ocean views, but this is the first time we've booked an offer for each of us on the same sailing. For the record, the kids are 30 and 31, so well into adulthood and their own lives. We just want to share our vacation with them.

Hi all! I'm new to the forums but have sailed HAL many times. I have a unique situation coming up in May that I wonder if anyone has insight on. We've booked 2 rooms, both casino offers, for my husband and myself, and we're bringing our adult children. Once aboard can we talk to customer service and make it so I can stay with my husband and the kids can stay by themselves? Or will I need to stay with a kid and he gets one? Any ideas are welcome.

We were on NS in December. Overall it was great, but a few things stood out. Communication among the staff isn't great. We were on board a total of 27 days for 2 back-to-back sailings. My husband and I both tested positive for covid within the first few days. They had dedicated stewards to clean covid rooms but nobody told our regular steward that the room was contaminated. After 14 days we changed rooms. We were told they would move our bags but they didn't. And when we disembarked we were going straight across the street to the Volendam. Our bags weren't waiting when we got off the ship, nobody knew where they were, and we finally found them 45 minutes later mixed with the crew's bags. Besides those Communication issues we really enjoyed our time aboard.
