  1. LMAO I could have used some duct tape for sure! And its a cloth bag about the size of what I originally thought was a shoe shine bag. :c/ Here is a pic of the bag in all its small glory. :c)
  2. I pre purchased as well for my recent trip and with the 48hr turn around time on the clothes I am sure they are sitting in a giant lien cart and whoever happens to be on laundry duty that day tosses them in and goes on to the next bag and so forth and only counts the items at the end to make sure they match to try and get them all out on time. No harm in trying to leave a note but I would go with what was mentioned above and hand wash it and hang it dry in your room. I had a sorta linen like pair of capris that came back a little rough feeling/lighter colored(?) compared to how they went. Not sure if that makes sense but I would have hanged them dry if it was at home to prevent it. With that being said they did do a good gob on washing and folding, got everything back at right about 48hrs. Only wish the bag was a smidge larger, what am I saying... a lot larger, so I didnt have to sit and roll the living daylights out of my stuff to get it to fit lol. Mind you I did get 7 FULL outfits head to toe in the bag but that was about 20+min of rolling and punching it down to fit lmao :c) *Side note... no they will not let you use a vacuum seal bag to get more in the laundry bag! I asked and got shot down on that one though it did give the steward a good laugh lol.
  3. Throwing my 2 cents in, just got off the Solstice about 2 weeks ago and honestly went to the MDR once for dinner (I like food and small portions are not my game lol) and wore a long button down dress shirt, a pair of black capris that I also was using for shore excursions so they were light weight and worked w about anything (both from Shien for about $25ish USD total if that) and my Air Jordans and no one batted an eye. I don't do dresses/skirts so that was 100% not going to happen lol. I also sat at a table in Sushi on 5 in shorts, a long tank top covering my swim suit and a pair of Teva sandles for a take away order and no one batted an eye then either and had dinner there in a tank top and capris w a cardigan and no one said anything. As far as other people I saw anywhere from khaki shorts, to dark jeans, to wrap around skirts (a lot from our Thailand stop) to skorts in the MDR. Wear whats comfortable to you, maybe not sweats or your PJs lmao but as long as you don't look like you rolled out of bed or from a lounge chair on the deck I don't think they are going to be pushy about a suggested dress code. Just my opinion though :c)
  4. I am traveling solo and wondered about the move up offer as well and found this video super helpful in breaking down the ups and downs of it. I decided on a hard pass on the move up since you do NOT get the offerings that come with say the suite or upper levels to my understanding, only what came with your original booking. You cant unbid, and you could get stuck w a crappy room (view, location etc) since its based off what does not sell. And your gratuity would go up if you bid on a room that is in a higher tier then your original booking. I have the worst of luck on these things so I would get the worst of the worst options lol EX: the room under the gym in this video. I would rather spend that bid cost and just up my drink package or add another device for wifi. As far as Celebrity having info on it, its ran by a third party on behalf of Celebrity (again to my understanding) so Celebrity agents would only know the basics of it IMO. Just my 2 cents. :c)
  5. IMO the time it would take the doctor to print a template, sign and scan back to you is well worth the 10min they would spend to save you from about $75 per day you would spend a drink package you don't need ( based off $30 zero $109 premium). Now if you can drink over $75 worth of coffee, juices, bottled water, red bull plus the fancy waters then by all means you would save money but if you won't drink that much then that's at least a upgrade on wifi, a bag of laundry, a shore excursion or part of one (depending on if you book independently or through the cruise) or dinner at one of the restaurants.
