  1. It really depends on which ships you are comparing. The lines are very similar with pros and cons to each. If you can let us know what ships you have been on and which you are looking at you will get much better responses.

We have never been on a brand new Carnival ship. We have been on Glory, Liberty, Sensation, Fantasy to name a few. We are scheduled to go on the Adventure of the Seas in May.

  2. Hoping you can see this picture I took in my cruise compass about buying the whole CD! And it says they do have facial recognition so maybe I was wrong? We didn't even go down there so things could have changed!

  3. No unfortunately you will have to search the dreaded wall!! We decided to skip photos all together this time. It was nice to not have to worry about them but I know some people use this opportunity get family photos. In the past, we bought them and then they sit in the envelope for years. Haha. Enjoy your cruise!!

I appreciate your help more than you know! You are a huge help[emoji106] We love pics lol. I will spend more on pics that drinking and souvenirs together. It's hard to get everyone in the same place at the same time for sure. I keep waiting for a photo deal to pop up on my cruise planner. Do you remember seeing any photo deals prior to sailing?

  4. They have photographers everywhere!

Look for photo packages at a discount before you sail. Sometime you can get great deals!

I will definitely keep a eye on my cruise planner. I am hoping to get a deal around $200 for a CD of our pics.

  5. Same process on Royal. No charge to take photos in a variety of spots around the ship. Prints are $20 to $25 each.

If you are on one of the ships that uses face recognition software, you will go to a kiosk, swipe your key card, and your photos will show up on the monitor.

Thank you:) Do you know if Adventure has the face recognition software. It sounds so neat!

  6. I love love love getting our family photos on cruises because it seems to be the only time I can get everyone together. We will be sailing on the Adventure in May and I plan to buy at least 5-6 different pictures. We have never sailed on Royal so how does Royal work the photos? On Carnival we would have different photo opportunities while walking to dinner. Typically the next day I would go hunt down our pics on the dreaded photo walls and make my purchase from there. I am curious if this is the same way that Royal will do it. Thank you.
