Try the Homewood Suites on Western Avenue. Short Walk to the Space Needle and short ride to either Pier. As someone who live a block from the Market downtown, that is an area I would avoid, especially after closing.

We are looking into car rental from San Pedro to SNA for our cruise next month. There is an Enterprise Car Rental that runs a shuttle to it's office not far from the port. Prices for a standard vehicle were less than $100 on Costco Travel. We liked the flexibility and the price not being much more than an Uber for 3 of us.
