Have been on Royal ships where the Freestyle Soda Machines have been removed but I can see some in recent videos of Explorer of the Seas. Buying the soda package then having to go to bars for it was tedious. Going out on the Explorer in January 2024. Has anyone been on there recently and are those machines still functioning? Yes, it's now $15.99 per day for my cruise in January so I am booking it. Got it on sale last year for $14.99/day so that is about as cheap as it gets. We get only 1 and take turns using our devices. Yes, I have to sign in as my husband. I can read books or play games on my IPad w/o being online. We just don't spend that much time online on a cruise. IF I did want 2 devices I would pay as ONE person with 2 devices. It is cheaper that way.
