I am getting gift cards with points from American Express. I charged part of my cruise and got 7500 points. As a result a 100.00 card was only 2500 points. Can't beat that.

For some reason I never checked what was below my cabin. I just realized we above the nightclub.....I know to never be below a noisy place, but what about above.

This has probably been addressed but I received a gift card after final payment and docs completed. Can I go to guest services once on board and have it applied as obc.

Thank you. I did well in St Thomas but I am usually quite suspicious in Nassau hence the question

I want to buy my baby granddaughter a gold bracelet and I am looking for an independent jeweler where it won't be mobbed with cruisers. I found one in St Thomas a few years ago and it made my shopping experience so much better. Thanks in advance.

This was the original reason for my op. I have never seen anything this size and I was wondering the same thing about them. They're more like the cartons that protein shakes come in - we've taken those on several cruises, as Carnival allows cartons, just not bottles (except wine). These are pretty interesting - being smaller than a regular wine bottle would make them much easier to pack as well as fitting them in the fridge in the cabin. And of course, they would be much lighter than a glass bottle of wine. I've never seen these before & I would be curious as to whether anyone has had any problems with the port staff recognizing them as an allowed bottle of wine.Sent from my SM-G920T using Forums mobile app

I am going on a quicky cruise in 2 weeks. My steakhouse confirmation read free bottle or 50% off bottle on 1st night reservations and on elegant night reservations. Hope this helps.

I have always taken just a bottle of good champagne on my past cruises and just found these to be interesting. I know you can also purchase them in smaller containers as a 6 pack. I'm not sure that I would actually bring them and that is why I threw this out to cc people for opinions. Thank you all so much for the feedback. I have decided this is probably not the best way to go.

Thank you all for your input. I may bring them in my carry on only because they are so light. I wonder though if I could bring 3 since that would add up to 1500ml, the same volume as 2 750ml bottles

It is wine. 500ml per box. So much lighter than bottles... Takes up 1/2 the space but I'm wondering if because of how small they are they would go unnoticed in my checked bagI would call to be sure, but, I think they may allow it as wine, as long as you don't exceed the 750ml. In that case it is carry on only. 750ml per adult in cabin.Sent from my SM-G920T using Forums mobile app

I just found these little wine boxes. Would they be considered part of the 1bottle per person in carry on or do you think they could be put in my checked bag

That is very interesting. Sailing in 2 weeks on a quick 3 day. My husband will love that

I think the biggest problem is the op is flying out of JFK. If I were sailing out of Bayonne the flight should have been out of Newark. That being said, I think I would go to JFK drop my luggage and then take ground transportation back into Manhatten. I would go to the Metropolitan or Momo, eat lunch in the cafe, enjoy the art and then back to JFK. Just my idea of a lovely afternoon. If not into museums I would people watch at Bryant Park.. Maybe go to Lord and Taylor or Saks.

Start every meal with a large glass of water. At breakfast eat fruit first (not juice) At lunch and dinner eat a large salad first....stay away from the Frozen drinks and don't eat after dinner

The hassle of flying with 2 toddlers versus a 30 minute drive to be on vacation to me is a no brainer. There is nothing like driving 30 - 45 minutes, boarding the ship and be sitting on the pool deck within an hour.

Regarding parking. Parking is easy and very close to the ship. I have been on Majesty and it is a nice ship similar to Fantasy class on Carnival. Getting to the port at 12:00 won't be an issue. There are a lot less people to board and Royal does a great job. Yes, Majesty is older but for a weekend it is a perfect getaway. COCO CAY is beautiful if that is a stop....if there is a lot of wind they will bypass though. We have been to Nassau so many times that we stay on the ship. Enjoy your trip

I'm not sure, but it will be pretty far out. Cocoa is south of the port and she will be on the ocean at that point. Can you see majesty depart from cocoa beach?Sent from my SM-G955U using Forums mobile app

The beach is free. You can go to Jetty Park which is ok but Cocoa Beach just up the road is much nicer. There are lots of hotels up and down as well. A really great place on the beach is in Cocoa Beach is Coconuts. Fish lips is fine but it is most fun when ships are leaving port. FYI I live in the Orlando area. Another access point (besides the public beach) is at the Hilton on the beach. The beach bar is open and you can get to the beach from there. There is an indoor restaurant and a bar with food.

The cruise lines websites will generally give specifics on what is and is not included and how much it all costs. The rule of thumb is 5 drinks to break even depending on what you drink figuring 12 dollars per drink
