I sure am glad that you are all settled in your new (and dry) cabin. What a bummer, but happy that you are moving forward with a positive attitude. I am enjoying reading your "live from".

Thanks so much for the wonderful review. We were on for the B2B also and agree with all you said. It really was one of the best cruises ever.

Our ports will be Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Manzanillo. We would like to pick up some medications on our upcoming cruise. Does anyone have any experience with a reliable pharmacy in one of these ports?

Thanks everyone for your input. I guess we will just wait and see what happens!!

We will be going on the March 31st sailing on the Discovery. Just wondering what, if anything, they do for the top 40 most traveled passengers.

Either the lunch or cocktail party is great on any of the ships we've had the opportunity to attend.
I totally prefer the lunch over the cocktail party. While the cocktail party is lovely with marvelous tid bits to eat and anything you want to drink, it is too short. We've been to several over the years and they are only around 45 minutes. Not nearly enough time!!

We got invited on B2B roundtrip Vancouver cruises but each time to Alaska & on CA Coastal cruises it has a cocktail party for us. Years ago when I had 160 days I was the #6 MTP…that’ll never happen again. 😂 Our only lunch was on a Hawaii cruise with about 350 days & we barely made the cutoff. We’ll hit 500 days on our next cruise although the more we cruise the further away we get from another MTP invitation…but it’s fun trying by sailing more often. 😉Since the start up after Covid, we have been on quite a few cruises and all of the MTP affairs were lunches and not cocktail parties. With 500 days, I would say that you will make the cut one of these days. Keep cruising!!! Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks.

I read on your patter that Carlos Oscar was performing in the Vista last night. He is a favorite of ours. If he is on again, try to attend his show. I doubt you would be disappointed.

Kristoff Greyling is headed to Majestic Princess for a couple months. He was supposed to join Discovery February 24th. He'll now join in April to relieve Cole Bockman. Cole will return to Discovery in June.
When in April will Kristoff join the Discovery? We are on for the April 3 (eclipse cruise) and I was looking forward to having him as a CD.

Thanks for the great "live from". Your food tour sounds like it was really fun. I miss having Explorers on the Discovery.

My friend is planning a burial at sea on an upcoming Princess cruise. She was informed that she can't throw flowers overboard, so you might inquire ahead of time. You can apparently request flowers for the table.

That “little table” is the top of the fridge..I’m sorry to say with two people in a cabin..the top of the fridge area as well as the “desk” are covered by other stuff.
We NEVER leave our RS tray in the hall. This a a #1 pet peave of mine!! If nowhere else, put a towel on the bed and put your tray on it.

Does Princess still have the referral program where both parties receive $25.00?

There's a lot of effort into producing The Wake Show, not only on the CD and guests, but on the production crew who has to film and edit it. Your admission that it's just background noise really says a lot to how useless it is.
I will refrase my words because that is not what I was attempting to say. I have it on and watch it as I am sitting at the desk, putting my makeup on and drinking my coffee. I especially like it when they have a trivia question or a riddle that requires us to go to the library to drop off the answer for a drawing the next day. Some CD's do this, some don't.

Well, I for one love the Wake Show and have it on in the background as I'm getting ready in the morning. We just got off the Regal (Christmas cruise) and the CD was Allie. She is adorable and could be one of the best CD's we've ever had. We have over 1000 days with Princess, so that is saying a lot. She and Matt, her assistant CD had a fun Wake Show every day.

I sat next to the captain at the most traveled luncheon last cruise and he mentioned that the wind is the worse thing about sailing into a port. That was the reason that we missed Grand Cayman last week. Riding a tender in high winds would be very dangerous. The captain doesn't just cancel a port because he doesn't want to go.

We disembarked the Regal as you were getting on. We had an awesome Christmas cruise. Food and service was fantastic. In my opinion, the cruise director Allie and her assistant CD Matt were the best ever. I will be following your "live from". Thanks so much for taking the time to do it.

I'm enjoying your "live from" very much. A quick question - is there USB charging on the lamps in the cabin?
