Apologies if this question has been asked on another thread. We are first time cruisers and going on our cruise in a couple of weeks. One of the call of port is Livorno docking from 7am-7pm. We are looking to visit Pisa and Florence. How far is the train station from the port? Is it walking distance? What is the best mode of transport to get from the port to the stataion? We are travelling on the Enchanted Princess, are they likely to provide a shuttle? How much time should we allow to get back to the port on the return? I was thinking of being back for 6pm, is that enough time, what is the norm? Apologies for the so many questions, I'm guessing you can tell I am an anxious first time cruiser. 🙂

Hi Again, Was looking to book the Santa Margherita to Genova train ticket, looking at the timings and the ship leaving at 7pm , would arriving back at the ship for 6/6.15pm be ok or should we be arriving back earlier? I'm looking at either 16:46 arriving at 17:26 or 16:55 arriving 17:46? What is the norm time to get back to the ship after a day in port when the ship is due to leave at 7pm? Appreciate your help.

Hi again, sorry another question, what time is the best time to embark on the ship? We were thinking 1-1.30pm but then reading some reviews that lunch buffet is over at 1.30, so should we get on the shop earlier, maybe 11-11.30? TIA
