  1. Just commenting on this in case of help to anyone. I was on Iona a few weeks ago and given the above assumed my 2 year old would not be able to swim. I asked the crew member on duty by the pool and he said swim nappies ARE allowed as long as they are covered up. So he swam with swim nappies and his swimming suit as we would anywhere else 👍🏻
  2. Thanks again and don’t worry about replying to above, ended up booking another cruise with diff cabins (for other reasons!)
  3. Thanks so much Andy! Other thing I read was issues with smoke on balcony from Java smoking area below? Did you experience that in 407? Thanks
  4. Hi, we’re looking to book on the Britannia next summer but there is very limited availability for a family of 5. Can anyone tell me what noise levels are like on G deck from the public areas below? Specifically cabins G321 and G335. They are over the Crystal Room and Java. Thanks!
  5. Sorry to jump on the post with a related question! We are travelling on the Iona on Saturday. I’ve not done a cruise for many years so feel a bit clueless! Our embarkation time is 3pm and we have booked CPS car parking. Is it possible to turn up much earlier, drop car and luggage (I’ve seen the “hole in the wall” mentioned!!) and then go off for a while until our embarkation time? Or will we be unable to even drop the luggage until 3pm? Thanks
  6. I first checked at 12 noon 14 days before and shows were there by then!
  7. Hi, I wondered if anyone knew about the situation with toddler car seats on coach tours in Norway? We are off on a fjord cruise on Iona next weekend. I read somewhere they are required by law and will be provided, but when I contacted the only tour we are doing ourselves they said our toddler should just sit on our knee. That was a short journey on a “city bus” so perhaps different. Would rather not have to take our own seat if possible! I asked P&O but they couldn’t help. Thanks!
  8. Hi, I only tried 14 days before as I thought that was when shows came up (but that could definitely be wrong - perhaps had been up for a day already!) The entertainment wasn’t in the initial list on the main page (book dining/shore excursions and another one) but under the entertainment page a “book now” button was under the signature shows section. Hope that helps!
  9. My agent says they had a glitch. I managed to book by booking everyone in my party separately. Hope you managed to sort it too!
  10. Hi, I’m just looking at the Refresh drinks package on the Iona (as it would be included for child if classic package purchased for adult). It says it includes selected juices but on the menus I’ve looked at (a couple of bars and the main dining room) the only options on it are Pepsi and lemonade. Has anyone bought this package on the Iona recently and can shed some light? Thanks
  11. We are cruising on the Iona in two weeks. The theatre shows became available for booking yesterday…it seems they have all sold out now (I tick the passengers but when I go through to the basket it says now no unavailability). Does this mean we will unable to go to the shows or do they release more seats? Thanks
  12. Thanks for this….someone else mentioned this but I can only see speciality dining and shows?
  13. Hi, We are cruising on the Iona for the first time in a couple of weeks..does anyone knew what time is the earliest you can eat in the main dining room for dinner? The theatre shows are available to book and I’m wondering if it would be possible to eat at 5pm to make it to the 6:45 showing (we have young children!!). Also, how does it work with dinner time slots, are they just bookable each day on the app? Thanks! Emily
