  1. I've just checked and there are only 4 slots left for the Norway Taster Menu - one early and 3 late slots. So I expect that will be sold out by the end of the day
  2. Have a fabulous cruise! it was the best advice on this board to get in and book as soon as its available. Do report back about Afternoon Tea - you were lucky to be able to book it so close to embarkation day especially for 6. I've read some mixed reviews about it although I don't know if its always been done in Epicurean in the past? I wavered over the Limelight Club but decided against booking it in the end. Not heard of the music act, and it's not really our sort of thing. Yes, rather pleased we have all our dining bookings sorted so we can relax and avoid the online rugby scrum to get a booking once on board. We're not so fussed about entertainment, but booked it anyway. If we decide not to go, we'll cancel them and not be one of those people that hogs a booking and does a no-show! We will try and book the 7/10 club on board though.
  3. Just a thanks for the heads here to get in asap and advance book speciality dining and entertainment. We sail on Iona on 2nd Sept so bookings opened at the stroke of midnight tonight (well, this morning really). I drew up a dining timetable earlier this evening of where we wanted to eat and on what day. I then went in with military precision dead on midnight and had everything booked within 15 minutes! Dining: Epicurean x 2 Chef's Table Afternoon Tea in Epicurean Sindhu x 2 Beach House Norway Taster Menu £227 later! Hoping we can use our OBC to pay for the balance at Sindhu and The Beach House. And also hoping to book Keel & Cow, Glass House and Olive Grove for lunches when we get onboard. It's going to be a foodie cruise for us! Entertainment booked: The Take That musical thingy Sky's the Limit Ben Moss 2 Festival in the Headliners Theatre I did 11 separate transactions to avoid loading the cart up, getting to checkout and finding that some of the bookings had already sold out. Feeling pretty pleased all the bookings are sorted now. We can now relax and not worry about the speciality dining already being sold out on embarkation day.
  4. I shall duly report back with the cinema listings when we're onboard 2-9th September!
  5. Thanks for the update, much appreciated. Maybe the film offerings are a bit different in school holidays to cater for more kids on board? It will be interesting to see if the films change during your cruise. It's a shame as none of those films appeal at all to us. The latest Indiana Jones would be good too, despite the terrible reviews!
  6. That''s reassuring to hear that you enjoyed the Fjords, being your first cruise too. If we enjoy it, I'm sure we'll want to do more. We'll have to wait until 2025 though as we're doing trips to Canada every 6 months at the moment to visit our daughter who has recently moved there. Mind you, a cruise to Alaska may be a possibility as our daughter lives in Vancouver
  7. That's exactly why we booked a September cruise! The fjords do look beautiful. We've been to Scandinavia (Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Oslo) and love it, especially Sweden, but we're looking forward to the Fjords.
  8. Iona! To the Fjords we go! Both of us are in need of a holiday, the last 6 months at work have been a bit too much. We're looking to just relaxing and taking it easy.
  9. Thank you! Yes, just checked our booking confirmation and my husband's loyalty number is there! Boarding passes and luggage labels printed. Just speciality dining to book as soon as it opens in a week's time. We are really looking forward to our first ever cruise.
  10. Thank you. This is our first ever cruise. I can see my account number when I log into my account, but not my husband's. I have seen his number somewhere before, but can't find it this time. There seems to be 2 different aspects to logging in - my account - which has my details....and the the booking itself which requires first and last name, DOB and booking reference. I don't know why P&O splits it like this - it would be so much easier if you accessed your booking and account details by logging in once into your account. Its not very user friendly. I've logged into our booking using my husband's details, but his account number doesn't appear there. In practical terms, he doesn't need to access his account. I tend to do all the booking and sort out travel stuff generally with holidays. He just hands over the card!
  11. It's a bit confusing. I've just done our check-in online. After I uploaded our mugshots it stated that if my husband wanted to amend or remove his photo he would need to log in to his own account. He doesn't have one. I did the booking and have been managing it. Does he need to set up an account and if so, how does it link to our booking? Also, when it comes to the My Holiday "app" does he need an account for that too, or does it just operate using the last 6 digits on his cruise card onboard? I've tried to find the answers to this on the P&O website but had no luck with this.
  12. Thank you! We've been holding off going to see Mission Impossible and Barbie in the hope that its showing in the cinema on Iona
  13. We're sailing to the Fjords on Iona in early September. Husband is very keen to go to the cinema onboard. Is there a way to find out the current showings? Has anyone who has been on Iona recently able to share what's been showing on board?
