  1. We were scheduled to sail in 2021 and got cancelled due to Covid. Viking rebooked us for 2022. While on the land portion before the cruise, we had several excursions that masks or social distancing were not enforced. On the way to the ship, the entire bus stopped for testing. Unfortunately my wife tested positive for Covid and we had to miss the cruise. We were booked to go in 2023. Unfortunately, my wife had some medical issues right before the cruise and we had to cancel. When I contacted Viking I was rudely told that a voucher cannot be reissued and we were out of luck. I told them I know Viking has made exceptions in the past for extenuating circumstances. I was told again rudely, we were out of luck. We have been good customers and have two additional cruises scheduled. I have read of unhappy customers in the past, but we have always been treated fairly in the past. I guess we are now on the list of disgruntled customers. It would sure be great to see Viking review this and make it right!
