    Haven't gone there yet, but when I hit Platinum with NCL next April, I may try them if they're still "matching" status. From what I've heard, read, seen, MSC doesn't quite yet "get" the American market. But they've got a shipload of money. They will get there eventually.

    What's amazing is the CC posters who have a TA that can't/won't/unable to answer the simplest questions or get an obvious price drop. Then, they call NCL and NCL says "sorry, call your TA". But hey, it's worth that cheap bottle of wine your TA gives you, right?

    "Hassle" is a subjective term. We have had no problems with Uber. If I recall from our last Seattle cruise, Port Valet is only available for flights after 12:00, so that's not an option.

    This is absolutely spot on. Royal keeps going bigger, bigger, bigger. NCL is going smaller and more precise. They will make improvements to the Prima class just as they did with the Breakaway class. The future looks good.

    I'm kind of confused with this topic. I used to get luggage tags in the mail in the 80's. That was 40 years ago.

    Chief, I'll take your advice over others every time. We'll be the only ship in Seatle on Sunday morning April 28, 2024. Our flight out is 11:30. That's a no-brainer, right?

    Ok. See what the 2-meal promo package is now. You won't get that once you board the ship. Just my experience, yours may differ.

    This is not particularly accurate; A pre-cruise dining package can be significantly less expensive than buying once on the ship.

    That is great news, and certainly expected. Just look at the difference between Breakaway and Encore. Live and learn.

    Of course they offer discounts. Just book them before final payment date. You'll be out of luck once you get on the ship.
