Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I just did an estimate on Uber right now and it's showing about $30, which seems pretty good. I'm planning to do the same, so if anyone can confirm would be nice. Thank you.
  2. I know there are a few pre-pay gratuity topics, but just wondering if I can pay the amount in cash once on board instead? I'm on the payment page and there is an option to pre-pay the gratuities. I opted not to because I would prefer to pay it in cash. I'm from Canada and our dollar really sucks right now, haha. I have some US money that I've held when our dollar was much stronger and prefer to pay whatever in cash that I can to save on the exchange rate. If this is possible, just wondering if I do this at the beginning or end of the cruise. First time cruiser, thank you.
  3. Thanks everyone. The information you have all provided was much more indepth. I’ll look to see if there’s a more preferred room as the noise would be an issue for us.
  4. Room numbers I’m looking at are: Room: 14191 Room: 11191 Currently have the rooms on hold. I just want to make sure there’s enough room. 4 of us won’t be able to sleep on a king bed lol. If I need to sleep on a couch and the kids on the king with their mom, I’ll do it. Haha
  5. Thank you for the response. I guess I should've mentioned I am looking at the Allure. The configuration shows 2 twin beds to form a king...which is going to be tight for 4 people.
  6. Hi all, I'm new to cruising and looking to book my family's first cruise. I'm trying to understand the deck map key and what would be best for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids <6 and 3 years old>). Ideally we only need a room for 4, but I'm just wondering what the difference is between the room configurations between. I see at the bottom of the deck map key when selecting room: * stateroom occupancy up to 4 5+ stateroom occupancy 5 and up The selection was defaulted to * (occupancy up to 4) but I'm just curious what the difference is for the 5+ rooms. Is there an extra bed/couch? Thank you.
