  1. The best way in my opinion to keep this from happening is to change the trivia questions/categories frequently.  We have been on cruises where it’s the same questions. Do we cheat?  No, because, #1 it’s wrong, and you’re right, we don’t want the same coasters!  More fun if it’s not the same old same old !

but it seems some people just want the attention of winning at any cost !

  2. They probably didn’t specify a suite because there is more than one available.  Check the website and see which suites are open. If one interests you, call immediately and ask for it.  I did that on both Royal and Regal and got an aft owners suites on Riviera.

  3. Deck 14 (riviera 730, port side) is my choice.  We have sailed in the suite on both Royal and Regal Princess.  The balcony is huge, much bigger than the decks below with the exception of dolphin deck. I believe that balcony is about the same size. Also, the concierge lounge is on Riviera deck which makes it convenient to run down for a snack. Good luck - it’s a great cabin.

  4. It's funny that many people swore that they would never pay for club class, yet when you look at cruises now, club class minis seem to sell out first.

On royal class ships, M6 mini suites (there are only 4 of them on each ship), are also club class.

  5. EllieinNJ,

If you use your Princess credit card for your on-board expenses, you will receive double points.(i.e. $500.00 will be 1000 points).  Then, when the bill comes, if you can put all of your points towards the credit card statement (better deal then buying onboard credits).  Or, you can continue to save your points for your next cruise or another purchase!

  6. I emailed Princess and asked them if they would have any extra tickets available for the 12/3 festivities.  They were nice enough to call me, but said that the day was for travel agents and corporate employees.

  7. I can't think of any back staircase from Marina up to the Outrigger Bar on Lido.  Easiest way is to take the back inside stairs up one flight to Lido  and go right out to the back deck (lots of seating there) and the Outrigger Bar.

There is a coffee bar with Espressos and Lattes in the middle of the buffet.  You can also get pastries and hot waffles there in the morning.

As much as I love the Grand Class ships, the Regal Princess is a step above.  You will love it!

  8. Ok- if you go to book a mini suite (NOT club class), go to deck 14 mid aft. If you click on one of the penthouse suites, it says "upgrade" and then you can click on the suite you are interested in, they will give you the cost and you can book it.

Please don't ask my why, I have no idea. I was just curious when I read your post and looked around.
