Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We'll be on the ship the first half of May so it should be ok. I assume you can see the water as you sit there. Are there any loungers where you could lay in the sun if you wanted?
  2. I see there is a smoking area on Deck 8, starboard side. Can you tell me what the area is like? Do you have any pictures? I want a place to enjoy a cigar in the evenings.
  3. Very helpful info. Now, based on the cruise we're looking at, it's a 14 night cruise; what laundry service is available and roughly what is the price? Or is there a link that explains this?
  4. I'm not wanting to start any trouble. I want to do what's right. I have looked around Cunard's site and cannot find the "What to pack" page. What is the link? I have taken my tux on many cruises in the past for upscale evenings but what to wear other nights is the purpose of my question. Navy blazer? Or some other type of blazer?
  5. Is the Churchill's cigar lounge still open on Victoria? And if it is, where are other places outside where cigars are allowed, if anywhere?
  6. I see lots of posts about a dress code but I would like to know exactly what is allowed and/or required. We are considering a 14 night cruise on the Victoria. What are polo shirts considered? Are collared shirts required to be button up type or are polo shirts with collars allowed. Are there nights that require a tux? Some clarification is needed and requested. Thank you.
  7. Wow! Just looked at their prices and you're right!!! $$$$
  8. The top pic is the outside area, correct? It looks pretty nice. It's on deck 16? The other pics appear to be inside but where is the smoking area exactly? I see stools and chairs. Is this entire area the smoking area on deck 6?
  9. It's been MANY years since I've been on this board but we're now thinking of going on a Mediterranean cruise with a heavy Italian schedule. I would like recommendations of the best cruise lines (service, etc.) that have (1) a cigar lounge onboard and/or an outside smoking area and (2) a good gym. I've seen some horrible reviews of some cruise lines and need input from someone who has sailed this area with similar requirements as me. Your input is appreciated.
