Thanks Georgina, we are from the UK and only have on board credit for the second cruise. Thank you for the information, most helpful.

We are currently on QV on 28th October and have just rung cunard to cost the previous 3 day cruise. The man I spoke to said that we would have to disembark in southampton and check in again for the second cruise. Has anyone else had to do this. If we don't keep the same cabin how would we manage with our cases etc.

Yes the lunches are free hut you have to pay for drinks. Gets very busy

Thank you lanky lad, yes it is through CPS.

Just noticed that for our Queen Victoria cruise we are leaving from the QEII terminal but disembarking at the Ocean Terminal. How will we get back to QEII terminal to pick up our car ?

Are there still bars where if we decide not to get off in a port, or on sea days, where there are comfortable chairs or sofas where we can read. Love this part of a cruise.

I have noticed on celebrity web site that if you book a drinks package then 15% will be added to the cost. Is this also added if you purchase the package on board as I cannot remember paying it the last time we booked the premium drinks package.
Also has anyone purchased the dinner package and how does it actually work, does celebrity choose all of the restaurants for you or just the first one? Thanks

Just booked the cruise, great price for CC so will just wait and see what happens with Socchi. If the weather is not good will just have to make the most of the ship and the drinks package - no big deal !!!!

Do the waiters still come around with bites and nibbles in the bars before dinner?

We are really close to booking the Black Sea cruise 14th October but my husband is concererned that the weather is not going to be good with rough seas. Has anyone done this cruise that can give any insight. Also, would we need to obtain our own visa for Sochi.

I think perhaps some people are taking my post out of context. I never said at any time that I went hungry or was short of food and the crew were mostly fantastic. I was simply expressing the fact that I found certain things not up to the standard we were expecting from azamara considering that it is not a cheap cruise line. I will think twice before putting any more posts on this board as some of the replies, I think, are uncalled for.
Another small gripe is the glass wear. This is equivalent to the standard you would receive in a local pub. At lunch red wine is served in exactly the same glass as white wine. When we asked if we could have the nicer wine glasses we were told that they are only used if you PURCHASE wine.

We mentioned it on our half way comments form so hopefully someone will take note. Can't pinpoint anything else in particular, just doesn't seem to have the finesse of our other cruises.

We have just returned home from our first cruise on Quest. Whilst we have to agree that the crew are fabulous we are slightly disappointed with certain elements of the cruise. For the cost of the cruise was surprised that "nibbles" were never brought around with the pre dinner drinks and had to ask for nuts etc. even had to go to the bar on several occasions to request a drink. Never had this service on celebrity, Silversea or Oceania. Think Azamara need to "up their fame" if they want to compete with other lines. If the price and itinerary was acceptable would cruise Azamara again but would not be my first choice.

When using our credit/debit card in lanzarote last month we were asked every time if we wanted it in Euros or Sterling. When putting the transaction through it is actually the card reader that prompts this and shows the two currencies.

Thanks very much Pam. At least if it's walking distance we can leave if we do not like it. Think we'll give it a go.

It's at the Verena dra Cultural Centre and is contemporary Croatian music.

The Azamazing evening for our cruise in July is whilst we are overnight in Hvar. Has anyone done this evening and would you recommend it. Undecided whether to go along or just do our own thing.

Thank you all for your replies, think I've decided!!!!

Hello, having sailed over Xmas and new Year 3 times on QM2 we are thinking of booking Christmas 2014 cruise on QV. There has always been a fantastic festive atmosphere on board QM2 and was wondering what it has been like on QV. Any carol singing etc.

Hi Lanky Lad can you tell me what drinks packages are available because I've never seen any. Might be going blind!!!

CVA34 - we left the Riviera last Wednesday after 12 days in 11054. Couldn't find anything to fault, it was terrific. The overhang never bothered us, in fact it was brilliant when it was really sunny as we could have some shade. Fantastic position and didn't notice any noise from deck 12.

Edward Garth was the assistant CD on our Riviera cruise last week and Roy was CD. Edward was very good and did a show one night in horizons which was great.
