Hello, I have experienced something a bit similar to what you have gone through but not quite as daunting. I won’t get into a lot of details here because it would involve spirituality and this is not that type of forum. You know that you were/are loved and appreciated for all you did for your loved ones. You may end up feeling an incredible sense of peace and calm while out on the ocean if you accept that the love you showed to others will come back to you, and you will feel it and be comforted, but you must allow yourself to be open to it. Your loved ones would want you to go forward in happiness. I’m sharing this thought with you because someone once did the same for me, and it made all the difference in the world. I only hope that these positive words will make the same difference for you.

Mine too. I noticed that the same thing is done on the luxury train lines. Everyone got greedy after COVID. I started cruising because my family is more comfortable knowing that someone is basically keeping track of me on a ship as opposed to land travel.

I have this same issue. I went through a mock booking on a cruise that was offering a deep discount for the second person. The trip total came to $3266.28 for two people. When I went back to do the mock booking for one person the price changed to $4734.64 for the trip total for the exact same room type. This mock booking was on Celebrity also. I think having the imaginary cruise companion is the way to go. I don’t recall this happening on Princess or Norwegian. I will check again to see. Edited 45 minutes ago by Milangel
