My wife doesn’t drink alcohol. Is there a package, other than the non-alcoholic, for just sofas. Coke, Coke Zero and the like. $32.99 a day seems a little steep.

There is a non-alcohol beverage package, that's it. Nothing for soda only.

    1. What is not to be missed in our pre-cruise visit to Reykjavík? Restaurants? Attractions? We're active, fairly fit and in good health.

A swim in the heated pools. I went to Laugardalslaug to ward off jet lag and it was such a fun experience, then I wolfed down a hotdog from Pylsuvagninn Laugardal out front after.

    Sandholt bakery is fantastic too.

I can get hot water and my handy travel grinder will make short work of what I need for my AeroPress. There will be good coffee on this cruise! 🙂

I'm planning on asking for a kettle as well, but past CC searches give mixed signals on whether kettles are available on North America cruises. I found some people having success, and others being told there aren't any.

I'm looking for folks who enjoy a pour-over, a V60, an Americano, an AeroPress and especially people who grind beans fresh before they make a coffee (Coffee Nerds Unite!) ... how's the coffee on the Apex?

I'm planning on bringing beans, my portable V60, and some filters for my first Celebrity cruise. I'm sure I'll be able to find hot water somewhere.

Portable V60s (you can find them for camping) are so easy to pack and use compared to an Aeropress and you get delicious coffee anywhere you can find hot water.

Excellent information!  Thank you...I'm on it!  I think DT is more our vibe.  Will look into the options posted by @Ferry_Watcher as well.

I like staying at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Seattle. If you have Chase reward points you can transfer them to Hyatt and do a points booking for quite good value. It's reasonable walking distance from Link light rail as well which you can use to get to downtown from the airport.
