Thanks everyone for your suggestions...makes sense now. I had asked at the crew Q and A session on board and the CD replied that everyone's passports were needed to be checked on departure,so that took extra time. I didn't believe this as this is what happens for Australians traveling to International waters every time anyway and it hasn't delayed us previously. I just wish these Q and A sessions told us the truth,I'm not bothering to go anymore as I genuinely just want to know.I'm not complaining,just curious.

Ever since my Princess Sydney delayed departure in January,Ive been taking note of expected departure times and actual departure times. Often the time given is 4pm but some dont leave till 6 or 7pm. I didnt get an answer that I believed when I asked on board. Does anyone know the answer?

OK,thanks everybody,I see now why what I want will be impossible(sigh!).I especially didnt know about Venice's port so maybe I'll just go Western Med. I was just in love with that pic of a cruise ship gliding into Venice,so maybe that doesnt happen anymore(another sigh!)

Does anyone know a cruise line that visits Barcelona,Marseille,Venice and Dubrovnik? I'll be in that area Sept/Oct this year and cant find anything for 7-10 nights that visits all these ports

Hello All, I have the opportunity to visit Europe and I'd LOVE to visit Venice,Dubrovnik,Barcelona and Marseille BUT I cant find any cruise line that visits these places in a short time(ie 7-10 days not 16). Because Ive already been to Rome,Florence,Athens,Sicily,Naples,Cinque Terre,so I dont need to spend time in those ports. Does anyone have any ideas?Ive only ever cruised in Australia. Thankyou

Hi,yes good thanks.I got to the ship exactly on 3 but it looked like they’d already started boarding though we still left late. So I m still none the wiser but I think I’ll ignore their text if this cruise goes well and there is another time

Yes,cruise begins in 2 days and got text saying boarding delayed,so now starts at 3pm,so I wondered if this meant they need to do a deep clean due gastro or covid? And since no one has a medallion,will this mean huge queues at the pier/at check in? Any advice please as to how to board without waiting in the sun for hours

Anyone enlighten me on why boarding has been put back and how do we manage the huge queues?I dont have the medallion
