  1. Thanks for all the interesting advice. Does anyone know if they check assigned times in Barcelona port? We will try to get an early assigned time and stick to it.
  2. It depends what you're used to .. many European cities are charging that kind of rate for cocktails.
  3. Thanks for that. From reading the rest of this discussion, I guess the key is to ask the bar staff what's available in my premium package rather than what isn't!
  4. I would just add that clearing immigration at BCN is not always super-fast for non-EU citizens. Don't be surprised if it's an hour between landing and leaving the terminal with your suitcases!
  5. Sorry if this is a stupid question ... we've booked the Premium package. Does this mean I shouldn't worry about price lists because we get whatever we want? Or do I need to keep an eye open for higher cost drinks? Then do I pay the excess?
  6. Thanks...that's good to hear! Does this mean we book the dining room and timeslot each day? On a few days we have all day excursions so hope to eat later!
  7. We're looking to our first ever cruise on the ASCENT from BCN in May! Seems like we've made a good choice! However, we're a bit confused about dining. We selected the Early Dining slot as flexible was not available. From the Celebrity information we understood that we would be assigned a dining time, restaurant and table, with the same waiter every evening etc. Over the weekend, we watched some great guest reviews of the ASCENT and they mentioned that one can eat in any of the 4 complimentary main dinner restaurants. So, now we're a bit confused. Is it set time slot, set table, set waiter... or free to go to any of the 4 restaurants and sit where we like?
  8. Thanks EP! Sounds fantastic! My wife and I are taking our first ever cruise on the Ascent in May in the Med. As there are lots of port stops we went for an interior stateroom on deck 9, but chose the deluxe to have a bit more space. We're really looking forward to it.
