We are going on Harmony OTS later this year and I was watching a you tube video and they were saying the cabins have standard U.S. outlets and European outlets and to buy adapters so you can use all of them. Anyone use these? Amazon.com: Amazon Basics 3-Pack Travel Plug Adapter Type E/F, Europe - France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Spain, White : Electronics

Now that I thought about it, that probably is a insider secret only a few actually know.

With all these big fancy ships I am sure they cost a pretty penny to build. How long do you think they are in service before turning a profit? Thanks

Allure/Harmony OTS Question
jobinseattle replied to jobinseattle's topic in Royal Caribbean International
That does make sense. Thank you -
I did a mock booking on Harmony of the Seas in Apr 2025 and I selected these options. A 7 night Western Caribbean cruise for two people, Grand Suite 1 bedroom, gratuities included and the exact same cruise on Allure in Apr 2026 and the price difference was almost $900 more between Harmony and Allure. Seeing they are both Oasis class ships I would have thought the price would similar. Any ideas why so different? Harmony Apr 2025 - $6009.76 Allure Apr 2026 - $6875.20 I would have thought cruising a year later would be cheaper?

You are correct we are in a JS, Although we have a bid in through Royal Up to go to a Grand Suite 1 bedroom. I don't really expect win that. I was really planning for our trip on allure in a few years. -

Thanks, I will have a much better idea what to do when we go on Harmony. My wife will be there. We will figure out something. RC has been doing this for a long time. I bet I have nothing to worry about. -
Explaining the Royal Suite Class

I am a little self conscious still about using this walker. If anything I am hoping for guidance and seating and a place I can put this that it is out of the way during shows. I have not been on a cruise yet but we are taking Harmony later this year. I will have a much better idea then. -
Explaining the Royal Suite Class

I was looking because I am planning a future cruise. I mainly want a suite because of the concierge service and VOOM. I use a walker to get around and the concierge service will be most helpful. We are looking at the Grand Suite 1 Bedroom on Allure OTS. -
Explaining the Royal Suite Class

Harmony OTS, Actually we booked a junior suite. I really did not know at the time (It really is not a suite IMO like Sky or Star class suite. We did put in a Royal Up for a Grand Suite 1 bedroom. Hope we get it. -
For specialty dining is the lunch and dinner menus the same? I happen to be talking about these restaurants (Jamie's Italian, Chops Grille, and Izumi Hibachi).

We are taking our first cruise later this year and I have learned so much from this site, Facebook and others. I think I understand the Royal Suite Class but would like to confirm this with a video or something. There looks to be three things one must understand. The first is, What Royal Caribbean ships are part of the Royal Suite Class? Is Royal Suite Class Available in all Cruise Ships? | Royal Caribbean Cruises Next thing to understand is: Is my suite in Sea, Sky or Star class? What benefits are included in each Royal Suite Class Tier? | Royal Caribbean Cruises And finally what benefits does my suite offer: What Rooms are Included in the Royal Suite Class Program? | Royal Caribbean Cruises I would like some confirmation I understand this right. Thanks.....

That does make sense things could be reconfigured during the amp period. Thanks

Question for experienced cruisers. Wondering why there are different date range for deck plans? I wouldn't think they move things around, or do they? Example Mariner OTS:

Price Difference Question
jobinseattle replied to jobinseattle's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Since we have never cruised before I was curious. It would make sense to me that specialty dining may be cheaper because they can't offer as much as a bigger ship. I really don't know, Why I asked the question. -
Our first cruise is later this year on an Oasis class ship. I know the price ranges for refreshment packages, deluxe beverage package, specialty dining etc. Are the prices the same on a smaller ship (lets say Mariner OTS for example). considering the ship is smaller and may not offer as much as the bigger ships?

Allure OTS compared to Mariner OTS
jobinseattle replied to jobinseattle's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Thanks everyone, I am pleasantly surprised that there were so many good things to say about Mariner. I honestly thought everyone would not even think about Mariner because it is a smaller ship.
